is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization He is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas, a life-member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has been repeatedly named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars. In addition, Jason currently sits as the President-Elect of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Jason Franklin has been named to Texas Super Lawyers for 2015. No more than 5 percent of all lawyers in the State of Texas are named to Super Lawyers. Jason Franklin has tried dozens of lawsuits to a verdict on behalf of injured people and is frequently sought after as a speaker to teach other lawyers about trial law. Jason is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and has been repeatedly named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Texas Super Lawyers. Jason Franklin is Past President of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association (DTLA). DTLA is one of the largest local trial lawyer associations in Texas and is dedicated to empowering and supporting Dallas trial lawyers in achieving justice for those who have been harmed. Jason also sits on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Jason Franklin is honored to be a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Each year, the top 1/3 of 1% of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Election to the Fellows is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a member of the State Bar of Texas. The nomination is based on outstanding contributions to the legal profession as well as a commitment to the community. Each nominee must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. Once elected, a Fellow is a part of a network of top attorneys in Texas representing various ages, backgrounds and practice areas, but all with clear agreement on the importance of professional integrity and promoting the cause of justice in Texas. The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably-funded bar foundation in the nation. Jason is a single father to his daughter, Morgan. The experience of raising a daughter has taught him valuable lessons about life, relationships and "being present." Jason is also active in his church, the First Unitarian Church of Dallas. As hobbies, Jason is an avid adventure sports and adventure travel enthusiast. He has walked the ground on all seven continents; has taken a highly memorable "polar bear plunge" in Antarctica; climbed to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru; and has dived among great white sharks in South Africa. The many adventure sports he enjoys include skydiving, scuba diving, snow skiing, snowboarding, wake surfing and boarding, and mountain biking.
