Hello, I'm Danille! I'm a southeast Wisconsin native who has been with Fox Valley since January 2020. I graduated in 2017 from Gateway Technical College with a technical diploma for Veterinary Assistant and an Associates degree for Veterinary Technician. During that same year I became a Certified Veterinary Technician.

Dr. Christine Pogue

Hello, I am Dr. Christine Pogue. I am originally from Franklin, WI. I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian at the early age of 10 and it became my dream and passion. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine with my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2002. My professional interests include internal medicine, surgery and preventative care. I started working at Fox Valley Veterinary Service in 2011. I am an active member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medicine Association. I am happily married and stay active caring for my 2 teenage boys, 5 dogs and 1 horse. I am an avid hunter and enjoy upland bird and duck hunting with my beloved Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Ammo. I also enjoy spending time on the water fishing and engaging in water sports with my family. I love working in the field of veterinary medicine and cherish the relationships I have gained with clients and their pets. I look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Doug Keen

Dr. Keen grew up in Riverside, Illinois and followed his older brother in the field of veterinary medicine. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1995. Dr. Keen grew up in Riverside, Illinois and followed his older brother into the field of veterinary medicine. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991 and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1995. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Keen worked two years towards a master's degree in veterinary parasitology while teaching and doing research at the University of Illinois Dr. Keen has been a small animal practitioner in southeastern Wisconsin for 20 years and has extensive experience in emergency veterinary medicine. His professional interests include veterinary parasitology, small animal reproductive medicine, dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Keen is a member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. "Of all the aspects of my job, I most enjoy the client interaction and developing relationships." Dr. Keen says. "I am also grateful for the intellectual challenges that accompany my career. No two days are ever the same." Dr. Keen shares time away from the office with his wife of 20 years, Dr. Julie Keen (a veterinarian at Harris Pet Hospital), their 6 children and various scaled, furry and hairy companions. He is an active member of St. John's Catholic Church and enjoys many outdoor activities, including wilderness camping, fishing, distance running, skiing and gardening.

Dr. Justin Balster

Hello, I am Dr. Justin. I was raised on a small family farm in Appleton, WI and it was there that I developed my love for animals. Dr. Justin is a graduate from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Justin was raised on a small family farm in the greater Appleton, WI area where they raised cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens; and of course, he had many cats and dogs. It was there that he developed a love for animals and a sincere respect for the human-animal bond. Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Justin attended UW-Stevens Point where he studied biochemistry and led group tutorial sessions in the subjects of organic chemistry, biophysical chemistry, genetics and human physiology. In Justin's spare time, he enjoys renovating his house, cooking and traveling. Justin has visited nearly every country in Central America and in the future hopes to start exploring South America. At home Justin and his wife Molly have two dogs (an Akita mix and a Shih tzu mix) and a cat named Milo.

Dr. Roxanne Hawkinson

Hello, I am Dr. Hawkinson. It wasn't until I observed my first surgery that I realized veterinary medicine was my calling. It wasn't until Dr. Hawkinson observed her first surgery that she realized veterinary medicine was her calling. "I was bored silly at a desk job and took the day off to watch my kitten get spayed. Just minutes into the procedure, I knew it was the place for me." Dr. Hawkinson earned a bachelor's of science, majoring in communications, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin in 2007. Dr. Hawkinson has a professional interest in surgery and dentistry. "So much of our pet's health resides inside their mouth. Keeping the teeth and gums healthy is an important component for a long healthy life. But most of all," Dr. Hawkinson adds, "I thrive on the relationships I build with clients. I see pets as an extension of family and I strive to treat everyone's family as I would my own." Her most memorable surgery of the past year was a Cesarean Section to deliver 16 puppies. Dr. Hawkinson enjoys outdoor summer and winter sports and stays busy with her husband, two children, two dogs and four cats. Dr. Hawkinson is loved by the animals, clients and co-workers. Her sense of humor, curiosity and bedside manner make her an exceptional veterinarian. She inspires those around her to reach toward their goals and has a natural tendency to see the best in her environment. What she brings to the practice is professionalism, knowledge and the ability to relate to the pets and people alike.

Dr. Solomon Wikert

Dr. Wikert's childhood experience administering treatments to his diabetic cat spurred his desire to help animals and pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with distinction from Iowa State University in 2001. "Every day is different," he says "and it is both a challenging and rewarding profession." Originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dr. Wikert attended the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 1997. While there, he was the president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and an honor student. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with distinction from Iowa State University in 2001. Dr. Wikert is a member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. His professional interests include orthopedic medicine, soft tissue surgery, and reproductive medicine. Dr. Wikert also stays busy with his wife Amber (who is a Photographer) and their six children. When time allows, he also enjoys fishing, football, baseball, and playing softball.

Janelle Schlegel

Hello, I am Dr. Jana Schlegel. I am originally from Ohio and received my Animal Nutrition (BS) and Chemistry (BA) degrees from the Ohio State University in 2000. In 2005, I achieved my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. After completing the clinical portion of my veterinary degree at University of Wisconsin Madison, my husband and I decided to make Wisconsin our home and are currently raising our three growing children in Muskego. I have been a part of the Fox Valley team since January 2005. Being a veterinarian has always been my life goal, and I truly enjoy working with animals and people!

My name is Jesse, I started working at Fox Valley during my freshman year of high school. I started shadowing the Doctors, to helping on farm calls, to sticking around and helping in the clinic. I then left for a few years but found my way back, and I'm so glad that I did. Since I was a little girl I knew I just had to work with animals. I love and appreciate pretty much all creatures, but more so the furry four legged ones. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my daughter Charlie, and husband Nick. We have a little hobby farm, as Charlie is also an animal lover with a big heart.

Jessie Koch

Hello, my name is Jessie. I have been employed at Fox Valley Veterinary since August, 2010. I graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2002 where I obtained my associate degree to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. All through my childhood I knew I wanted a career working with animals, but I did not want to go to school for 8 years to be a veterinarian. My job as a veterinary technician is very rewarding and enjoyable, with everyday being different. I especially enjoy surgery and dentistry. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Justin, our 3 children, and our pets. We have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 4 Nigerian dwarf goats.

Hello, my name is Liz and I have been a veterinary assistant at Fox Valley Veterinary Service since 2010. Growing up on a farm in Burlington, I was happy to return closer to home after I received my Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I always knew I wanted to further my education and knowledge in the animal science field and Fox Valley has allowed me to do that. I've most enjoyed getting to know our awesome clients along with their pets and forming personal bonds with them over the years. When I am not working, I enjoy being active outdoors, cheering on my favorite Wisconsin sports teams and most of all spending time with my family. My husband Mike and our 3 kids love to run around on the family farm with the dogs, cats, horses and pigs.

Hello, I am Tina Euteneier, the Hospital Administrator for Fox Valley Veterinary Service. I grew up in Burlington, WI and began my career in veterinary medicine in 1990. I started working for Fox Valley Veterinary Service in June of 1997. I received my Veterinary Technician Degree in September 2004. I truly enjoy Fox Valley Veterinary and this profession, as we strive to provide quality and compassionate care like no other. That is most important to us; to care for the animals as if they were our own. I am also an active member of the Wisconsin Veterinary Practice Managers Association. My husband, Mike, and I love to travel and enjoy everything outdoors. Our family is a chocolate lab named Mahdi, a horse, Al-lee, and a miniature donkey, Fiona.
