Gaastra and Tabou NZ Limited was founded in 2018 when the brands previous importer (Alexander Stroh from A'ND Distribution) decided it was time for a change. My background is in the Motor Industry having owned workshops in the UK and here in NZ. After 11 years here in NZ I decided it was time to retire from the Motor Industry, so I could spend more time enjoying the passion for windsurfing that I have had for more than 35 years. My background with windsurfing is predominately racing which I have done for most of my windsurfing years, and I have recently taken up foiling. I had been a Team Rider for Alexander for several years, so it wasn't a hard decision for me to take over his business because of my love for the brand and the sport...
