Free to Be™ began in Vancouver in 1993 as a retail resource centre providing functional products and rehab services to promote independence and quality of life. The retail store was closed in 2000, and the owner, Barbara Purdy developed Free to Be™ into a consulting company producing and training injury prevention programs and DVD's. She also offers home visits providing Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy assessments and treatments... Free to Be™ cares for people and operates with integrity, honesty and respect. We believe that our programs and services improve quality of life and are successful in preventing injuries.
