As Estimator Adrian prices jobs for budgets and bid proposals. He acquires a detailed knowledge of the construction documents, determines which trade groups will be involved, and presents an accurate and competitive price for the work.
Al Giannone began his career over 25 years ago as a carpenter at Rampart Construction. He worked his way up to Carpenter Foreman and Superintendent, and in 1996 joined John Gallin & Son as Superintendent - a position in which he works hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them through the construction process from conception through completion.
For more than 20 years, Alan has worked in the NY interior construction industry, beginning his career in 1994. In 2008, he joined John Gallin & Son as a Mason tender Foreman, eventually working his way up to the title of Superintendent. In this role, he works hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them through every phase of the construction process.
Highly skilled professional with over ten years of project management, construction, facility and property management. A strategic leader focused on delivering business outcomes through vision and execution to plan. As Project Manager, Amel has total responsibility for seeing that the project is completed successfully. Working closely with the client and the architect, he plans and schedules the work. He and his Project Superintendent then take that schedule and make it happen. Amel works directly with the architect and engineer - and spends a great deal of time examining the fine details in construction documents - to ensure that the project is being completed exactly as planned.

Construction has always been at the center of Andrew Cortese's life. He grew up in a family owned construction business, and began working in the field with his father as a teenager. Andrew started his construction career during college, working as a freelance estimator for a variety of subcontractors. He graduated Pratt Institute summa cum laude in 1993 with a degree in Construction Management. Andrew joined John Gallin & Son in 1994 as a full-time estimator, spending four years working on conceptual budgets, value engineering and lump sum estimating. Over the past 20 years, Andrew has worked his way up through the ranks to become a Vice President and Project Manager - a position in which he had full responsibility for the management of projects and communication with clients.
In 2015, Andrew was promoted to Vice President of Operations. As Vice President of Operations, Andrew is responsible for the successful and timely completion of all the firm's construction projects. After carefully setting up project teams, he works with the project managers to seek out creative approaches to resolving problems that arise during the construction process. As the company's top troubleshooter, Andrew is constantly following up with project managers to make sure the job gets done right.
Andrew, like all Gallin employees, is open and candid with clients in an effort to earn their trust. All of his clients view Andrew as an integral part of their team, a leader whose only concern is the successful outcome of every project.
Arturo Lora began his career in construction 14 years ago as a Mason Tender at Morse Diesel/AMEC. He worked his way up to Mason Tender Forman. In 2004 he joined John Gallin & Son as a Mason Tender. In 2011 Arturo was promoted to Superintendent - a position that has allowed him to work enthusiastically with clients. Arturo also continues to develop his knowledge in construction and enforcing safety in the field.
As Superintendent, Arturo coordinates the day-to-day operations of the job in the field. He ensures that the project adheres to the highest professional standards and is completed on time and on budget. He also serves as a liaison to the client and the architect, providing them with frequent progress reports. Arturo starts each project by reviewing the construction drawings to pinpoint potential problems. He schedules the subcontractors, organizes the trades and makes sure that the correct materials are on hand. When Arturo isn't walking the site to check on progress, he's on the phone talking with his subcontractors and suppliers in an effort to head off potential problems before they can create delays. Arturo understands that earning the client's implicit trust is vital to the success of a project. To that end, he goes out of his way to maintain open lines of communication and position himself as an integral part of the client's team - a hallmark of Gallin service.

Ben is the fourth Giannone to serve at John Gallin & Son, a family firm that values the tradition of multiple generations working together. He fondly recalls visiting Gallin sites as a child, trailing after his father Al, now one of the company's most experienced Supers. As a young man, Ben worked summers on Gallin jobs as a laborer. Noting his talent, the firm sponsored his formal construction training at the Mechanics Institute of Technology. He's now following in his father's footsteps as a Superintendent, bringing that Giannone talent, commitment, and can-do attitude to every project. He's a natural communicator, something his clients and co-workers respond well to, and his attention to detail engenders confidence and respect among architects and engineers.

Brittany has a broad understanding of the construction industry. Since arriving at Gallin in 2011, she has served in several roles: assistant project manager, project manager, and most recently estimator. This global perspective makes her uniquely qualified to serve in her current position as marketing and brand manager. In addition to her organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, she's now expressing her more creative side - she intuitively knows how to present Gallin to its best advantage in the wide variety of marketing materials the team produces. Brittany is 5th generation Gallin and proud to be continuing the tradition of family at the firm.

Cat joined Gallin in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in the real estate and construction industries.
Growing up, she was strongly influenced by her grandfather, a building contractor in Southern California, and felt right at home helping to build her family's 35-acre ranch. Her career officially began when she joined the Las Vegas real estate Brokerage firm of CBRE as an agent in 1997.
After a move to New York City in 2008, she shifted her focus to business development, working with a general contractor here in the city. Over the last ten years, she has built a reputation for hard work, dedication, honesty, and - most importantly - integrity.
Cat, like all Gallin employees, is open and candid with her clients and coworkers, basing each relationship on a foundation of trust. Her clients look to her as a liaison between themselves and everyone on the construction team, whose sole objective is the successful outcome of every project. It is this quality that keeps Cat's clients returning to her again and again.
Chris Kaczor joined John Gallin & Son in 2016 after 10 years in the construction business. As a Project Manager, Chris was involved in attending / running job meetings, studying and reviewing construction drawings, tracking and scheduling submissions, creating project schedules, and building relationships with Building Managers, Clients, Architects and Engineers.
Christine Cartwright began her career with Gallin as Administrative Assistant to the entire staff, including the Estimating and Production departments and the officers of the firm. Beginning in 1990, she worked closely for several years with the Secretary Treasurer, Maureen Gallin, learning the day-to-day operations at the corporate headquarters. This led to her current position as Office Manager, where she plays an integral role in ensuring that the office environment operates smoothly. She is also responsible for the hiring and training of the entire administrative team.
Christine is the second generation of Cartwright family members to join the John Gallin & Son team. Her father, Peter, and sister, Eileen, have also worked for the firm.

The fact that Eric has proven himself such a capable leader is no surprise to anyone who has worked at the firm over the last several decades. Eric joins a long list of Zieglers to work for John Gallin & Son. His great-grandfather and grandfather were both carpenters for the firm. His father rose from carpenter to become a partner and chief estimator. His brother, Walter, is currently the vice president of estimating and purchasing. The Zieglers are one of several families with a legacy of multiple generations at Gallin.
Eric Ziegler joined John Gallin & Son in 2009 as estimator after spending more than 10 years working as a consultant in the financial industry. As a consultant, Eric performed thorough analyses of procedures to develop solutions that exceeded his clients' expectations. His analytical capabilities and attention to detail, as well as his work ethic, have transferred well to the construction industry. Now as director of estimating, he manages the team as they price jobs for budgets and bid proposals. Under his watchful eye, they acquire detailed knowledge of the construction documents, determine which trade groups will be involved, and discuss the job with subcontractors to ensure an accurate scope of work is presented to the client at a competitive price. Eric also oversees special projects and works hard to maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to ensure open, clear communication and a positive outcome.
An early interest in both design and engineering led Erica to set her sights on a career in construction. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Construction Management and Engineering, she joined Gallin in 2016 as a Project Manager Assistant. Gallin then enlisted her as an Estimator, where she became proficient in the bidding process. Erica has since returned to her roots in management, where she draws on all her training and experience to serve as a Project Manager. A people-person, Erica believes in establishing strong relationships with everyone involved in her projects: from clients and client reps, to Gallin's supers, crew members, suppliers and vendors. Her collaborative spirit and sense of responsibility make her an excellent team leader.
As Project Manager, Erica has full responsibility for seeing each project through to a successful completion. Meticulous and detail-oriented, she spends a great deal of time examining construction documents to maintain accuracy and quality control. As the primary liaison among the client, architect, engineer, Gallin management, and subcontractors, Erica plans, schedules, and coordinates the physical construction of the site. In addition to giving the client and architect daily updates, she meets with them on a weekly basis for a more comprehensive touch-base to ensure things are progressing quickly and smoothly - on time and on budget.
Fintan Kenny began his career in construction over 22 years ago as a carpenter. He joined John Gallin & Son as Mason Tender in 2004 and promoted to Foreman in 2006. Fintan currently holds the position of Superintendent. His enthusiasm for his work is displayed in the interest and care he takes in his projects. Fintan also continues to expand his knowledge in construction and enforcing safety in the field.
Frank has fond memories of tagging along after his father on job sites. To his dad, it was a chance to teach basic life skills. To Frank, it was the doorway into an exciting career. Never one to sit still, Frank came up as a laborer working some demanding jobs: iron work, concrete, and demolition, much of that work on Gallin job sites. Frank emerged as a natural leader. His field experience along with his ability to multitask prepared him well for his current role as Superintendent, where he's onsite overseeing and coordinating the efforts of large teams of tradespeople, producing the exceptional results that uphold Gallin's standards of excellence.

Construction was a natural career choice for James, who spent summers shadowing his uncles on job sites. He threw himself eagerly into every opportunity, and over the years gained experience in a wide variety of roles: he's served as a carpenter, superintendent, estimator, and now joins Gallin as a Project Manager. He believes in fostering strong client relationships and enjoys working closely with the field teams. James' background in safety is exceptional - his OSHA training and long list of certifications make him an invaluable asset not just to his own projects, but to the Gallin firm as a whole.

He progressed quickly in his career, working ever larger jobs, eventually going to work for the carpenter's union. His management skills and unwavering work ethic led to his current position at Gallin as a superintendent. Some of his most rewarding experiences here have been the occupied spaces, where he and his crew work side-by-side with the clients who remain onsite during the renovations. But as a self-described people-person, it makes the work that much more enjoyable. His clients agree.

Keith has been in construction his entire life, starting as a surveyor in 1987. He quickly made his way through the various roles within construction companies that included Surveyor, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and Project Executive. Keith has completed over 30 Million Square Feet of Interior Office Fit-ups during his career.
The Mc Corry family's history in the construction business goes back three generations to Keith's grandfather, who founded a successful contracting firm in Ireland. Keith was introduced to the industry at a young age, working alongside his father at Mc Corry Construction.

He quickly rose to become Superintendent - a position in which he works hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them through the construction process from conception through completion.

Limor's career in marketing is founded on an instinct for visual storytelling. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communications Design, Limor signed on as an Assistant Studio Coordinator at the renowned Grey Advertising. A later move to the boutique agency SMA NYC gave her even greater creative control - her contributions expanded to include campaign ideation, digital media, outdoor, video, and more. But it was her exceptional photography that caught the eye of the Gallin team. In true Gallin fashion, they have been staunch supporters of Limor's passion project, photographing today's top comedy performers and auctioning their portraits for charity. This rare combination of design capabilities and leadership skills made Limor the perfect candidate for her current role as Marketing Director at Gallin, where she has helped add professional polish to the firm's public image.
Mary Petit entered the construction industry in 2003. Her career began in residential, where she rose to the level of Senior Project Manager. Always eager for a new challenge, Mary joined the Gallin team in 2022 where her keen eye for detail is proving invaluable in the shift to the commercial side of the business. Her years of experience coordinating, scheduling, documenting, and acting as a point person among clients, teammates, and vendors have prepared her well for her new role. She knows that regardless of the type of project, it all comes down to exceptional client service.

Mike Stack began his career in construction 31 years ago as a Mason Tender. In 2010 Michael joined John Gallin & Son as Mason Tender Foreman and currently holds the position of Superintendent.

He ensures that the project adheres to the highest professional standards and is completed on time and on budget. Nicole is a 5 th generation Gallin with the firm, following in the footsteps of both her parents, her sister Brittany, Gallin's Marketing and Brand Manager, and of course countless Gallins before them. Nicole has a background in the arts and retail, so she's able to draw on her customer service and problem-solving skills, while also bringing a creative approach to her work. She's organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. In her spare time Nicole teaches dance to young people.
As Project Manager Assistant, Nicole has active involvement in attending job site meetings, reviewing construction drawings, and processing submittals, change orders and meeting minutes. Nicole also works closely with clients, building owners and subcontractors in helping to uphold the long-standing tradition of exceptional service that is a quintessential hallmark of Gallin.
Norman Terry worked for a residential woodworker for several years before joining John Gallin & Son as Mason Tender in 1998. He quickly advanced to Mason Tender Foreman and Superintendent - a position in which he works hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them through the construction process from conception through completion. Norm is one of 22 Terry family members to have worked for John Gallin & Son. Starting with his father and uncle in 1966, the Terry family has a proud tradition of excellent service at Gallin. Paddy Stack began his career in construction over 30 years ago as a Mason Tender, working his way up to Mason Tender Foreman. Bob has been working in the family business since he was 18 years old, alongside his brothers and fellow partners Chris and Tom. After starting as a mason tender, Bob gained a thorough understanding of the business at every level, working in a variety of positions that included Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager. His current role as Vice President of Marketing and Sales utilizes those years of experience in the field. Bob is now focused on developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships in addition to heading up the marketing and communications efforts for the firm.

Robert Kondracki began working summers for John Gallin & Son while attending college, and joined the company full-time after graduating. Rob is a 3rd generation Kondracki at Gallin, continuing a decades-long family tradition. Rob began interning here during his college years, and after graduation joined the firm fulltime. He enjoys the fast pace and unpredictability of a job where no two projects are ever the same and there's always something new to learn.
Bob joined Gallin in the fall of 2018. He spent 35+ years leading up to this move building an impressive resume that includes work as a project manager and field director, as well as a superintendent, the position he currently holds at Gallin. His work on a broad range of high-profile projects - ranging from Rockefeller Center to the private residence of a world-renowned media personality - make him a versatile and indispensable addition to the team. Here at Gallin, Bob will work hand-in-hand with clients, guiding them through every phase of the construction process.
Sawyer's interest in construction was first sparked in his childhood by seeing the awesome New York City skyline. So when an opportunity at Gallin opened up, he leapt at the chance to enter the industry. His role as a project manager assistant makes excellent use of his organizational talents, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. He's a natural collaborator and a valuable member of the Gallin team.

With a BBA in Accounting he began his professional life in Commercial Real Estate that opened the door to Construction, where his affinity for people and his long - standing relationships with Real Estate Professionals including: Architects, Project Managers, Engineers and Consultants made him a perfect candidate for his career. Along the way he forged a reputation for excellence, integrity, collaboration, and creativity in bringing projects to life. Scott's contemporary approach to Business Development makes him a partner and resource to clients and colleagues at every stage of the process from locating the perfect space for the projects need, through project completion.
Following the family tradition, Thomas started out at John Gallin & Son as a mason tender while still in college. Soon after graduating he joined the firm full time, gaining invaluable experience by working in a wide variety of positions. Tom eventually rose to become a Partner and served as CFO for 22 years. In 2022 he stepped into his current role as President.
Tom Varian is 5th generation Gallin; his father Mark served as president for many years. Like other family members before him, his strength lies in a combination of business acumen and creativity. His earliest experience was at another 100+ year-old company in their marketing department, and Tom put those talents to good use in his first role here as a marketing assistant. Tom now brings his considerable skills to the role of estimator, where he draws on his analytical capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, and strict attention to detail. Paired with his exceptional ability to build strong client relationships, it's a perfect fit.

Over the past two decades, Walter has risen through the ranks to become Vice President of Estimating & Purchasing. He plays a critical role in developing budgets and providing competitive pricing for all current and prospective Gallin projects. Walter is one of four members of the Ziegler family to make his career at John Gallin & Son. His great-grandfather and grandfather were both carpenters for the firm, and his father rose from carpenter to become a partner and Vice President of Estimating and Purchasing. The Zieglers are one of several families with a legacy of multiple generations at Gallin.
