Dave Taylor is the founder and principle owner of family-owned Gaslight Property. He started the company by purchasing a shell of a house in 1992. After total renovation David moved in and rented out rooms to his friends. Then he bought the house next door and repeated the process.
David continued the growth of the company by purchasing small buildings and adding value. Some buildings he kept and others were sold for the capital to purchase more buildings. This strategy has allowed Gaslight Property to grow to over 1600 units.
started his career washing dishes at the Skyline Chili in Clifton. He spent the next 29 years in various restaurant management positions until Dave called on him to join the company in 2004 to head up operations. Rob lives in Clifton with his wife and not far away from his three daughters and 5 grandchildren. He plays mandolin and guitar in a local band playing Bluegrass and Americana music.
Maintenance Supervisor Rick Taylor was on board from the beginning. While Rick was working full time selling cars he would go to a project and work with Dave until the early hours of the mornings. Rick was able to quit his "day job" and focus more of his time to Gaslight Property in 1998. Rick enjoys international travel when he's not in his Clifton home relaxing with his dogs.

Gidget McMeekin is the Vice President of Property Management and has been a leader in the industry since arriving on the scene in 2003. With no prior experience, she started her career as a Property Manager and quickly progressed in her role, successfully promoting within 6 months . Her ambition and tireless efforts led her to several more promotions over the years, eventually leading her to Gaslight Property. In May of 2017, Gidget joined the team as the Director of Property Management. She spent the next 5 years developing core processes, building a strong team of property management professionals, and learning from Dave & Rob. Gidget lives in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and son. She is a certified Yoga Instructor, enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Mike Spille joined the Gaslight Property team as Controller in 2022. A life-long NKY Resident, he has been around property management his whole life. His Grandfather was a local home builder and apartment owner. Mike's mom managed 120+ units for the family with nothing more than pen & paper. He is a graduate from NKU, twice, with a B.S. in Accounting (2008) and an MBA in Finance and Leadership (2020). He currently resides in Burlington, KY with his lovely wife Jessica who is a Labor and Delivery Nurse. They have a son, twin girls, and their dog Lucy. Mike is an avid Sportsman, Carpenter, and Bourbon Connoisseur.
