Dr. Smith attended undergraduate school at Georgia State University and the Medical College of Georgia. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and served as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (Medical Honor Society). He attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine for Internal Medicine training and completed his Dermatology Residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. He then completed his Fellowship for Mohs Skin Cancer Surgery at Ohio State University of Department of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Smith currently resides in Savannah, Georgia with his wife and three children; a son and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking and walking at the beach.
James K. Austin is a partner of the firm practicing primarily in the corporate section. He graduated from Duke University and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. Since 1991, Jim has engaged in the general representation of corporate clients which has involved work primarily in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contracts law, banking and finance, real estate transactions and general employment law. Jim also practices in the areas of trusts, estates and probate law and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
