Established in 1935, General Welding School Ltd. is Canada's oldest welding school. It's family owned and operated. Our unique approach offers entirely hands-on, one-on-one learning, under the watchful eye of a professional welder... "By reducing complication, while concentrating on fundamentals, work ethic and hands-on practice, we are able to provide unemployed and under employed individuals the skills needed to become successful members of the welding community. We are committed to staying current, if not ahead, with the ever-changing skill set required in the local welding industry. By studying and evaluating student learning outcomes as well as our formal goal achievements we are able to continually make the necessary adjustments to our academic programs... Our programs are 90% hands-on and 10% theory. The programs are flexible enough to accommodate all aptitude levels.
