Chris's idea of "going green" means already living life in a way that reflects his obedience to God's call of stewardship. He does a variety of things at home to demonstrate his appreciation and gratitude for what has been given to him, such as growing his own vegetables for immediate consumption, canning and freezing fruits and vegetables, using new light bulb technology, hanging clothes outside to dry whenever possible, composting and recycling. At work, Chris fully supports the initiatives that GDR is taking to help customers be more responsible in this area. "While it is not always easy to "be green" in the building industry, we're seeking out ways to educate ourselves, as well as our clients, as to what impact their project will have on their personal environment as well as the global environment," comments Chris. Chris is a past member of the Souderton Board of Trade where he served as the Board Treasurer and also as Board President. As a member of the Board, he helped revive the Soap Box Derby in Souderton.
