Christal has always been passionate about startups and the ecosystem, with a mission to contribute to a value-added impact in the region. Christal graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in entrepreneurship. Having prior experience in the venture capital and investment banking space, her intellectual curiosity, drive, empathy, and conscientiousness constantly encourage her to work with startups that cultivate the idea of aspiration meeting with innovation.

Cindy provides finance & operations support as well as compliance reporting on Golden Gate Ventures funds. Cindy finds pleasure in hunting for good foods and is a running enthusiast. When off-duty, you will most likely find Cindy in the kitchen - trying out and improvising recipes she found online.
As a Special Advisor, Dea helps our portfolio companies tap on Golden Gate Venture's network for business development, partnerships, and co-investments. Dea's seasoned career spans corporate communications, co-founding an e-commerce software house, and business development.

Jasmine is responsible for the financial reporting and operations of GGV funds as well as the day-to-day treasury and management company affairs. She is an avid hiker and thinks Zion is her favorite National Park.
Jeffrey has been at the heart of numerous investment-related activities and has helped founders grow ever since he joined the company as an intern five years ago.
Justin loves working with some of the best entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors in Southeast Asia. He joined Golden Gate Ventures as its first intern in 2012 and witnessed first-hand the region grow into the vibrant, dynamic tech ecosystem it is today. His aptitude, energy and enthusiasm for helping others led him to being promoted to partner in 2018.
Kayleigh provides executive and finance support for the team, particularly for our founding partner, Jeff Paine. As a film school graduate, she has a deep interest in photography and videography, often indulging in these hobbies in her spare time.
Kelly juggles between providing executive support, managing investor relationship and fundraising. She is always up for new challenges and willing to go the extra mile to get things done. Outside of work, Kelly is a sporty person who enjoys outdoor activities and is a proud owner of a toy poodle.
Mahesha focuses on the development and management of investor relationships, and serving the needs of our investors. He also helps the firm in areas of fund formation and fund administration. Mahesha has a keen interest in cosmology and music, having toured the world with his heavy metal band for the past 15 years.
Mia is an international economics graduate, a psychology undergraduate and a life-long learner who loves to be of service, heal and support people. She joined our Vietnam office to make sure it not only runs smoothly and effectively, but thrives!
Michael is a battle-scarred entrepreneur, investor and mentor with two decades of experience across two continents on helping innovative businesses obtain the resources, insights, and expertise they need in order to be successful.
Michael's entrepreneurial journey began in 2000 when he co-founded an IT managed services startup in Europe that was acquired by a large data and telecom company six years later. In 2007, Michael founded a venture fund focused on Dutch small- and medium-sized enterprises to help them with capital financing, business development, and strategy. During the same period, he was invited to join the Economic Development Board Rotterdam as Vice Chairman. In that role, he launched the Young Economic Development Board where he brought together a highly influential Dutch network to develop a sustainable framework for public-private relationships that increased local business investment while leveraging the public infrastructure.
Michael is currently leading growth venture efforts, which include LP fundraising and portfolio management for Golden Gate Venture's investments at Series B and beyond. Since joining in 2013, he has raised over USD $60M for Golden Gate Ventures and its portfolio companies, including helping to raise later stage rounds from external investors as well as leading two early strategic acquisitions.
Michelle sits across team functions, helping activate firm-wide projects and foster better team collaboration. She leads, implements and supports management efforts to achieve firm-wide goals and helps improve internal operations, allowing for the team to collaborate more effectively.
A law graduate, a startup enthusiast, and an inquisitive person by nature, Nishal has several years of operating experience in startups and is now a new member of the Golden Gate Ventures Investment team to help founders across Indonesia scale and build their next big idea!
Paul Bragiel is a three-time entrepreneur who has started regional funds in Asia (Golden Gate Ventures), Africa and vertical funds in gaming & virtual reality.

As Golden Gate Ventures' first Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Tiago brings close to a decade of experience in fundraising, go-to-market strategy development and product innovation to help the firm advance its FirstIN strategy to build the region's next unicorn and deepen its portfolio growth strategy for the ‘1.5 - 2nd generation' of founders emerging in Southeast Asia.
Tram is a finance professional turned tech investment enthusiast. Driven by curiosity and coupled with local knowledge, she is excited and humbled to join the journey of maximizing founders' potential in Vietnam and other SEA markets. Prior to Golden Gate Ventures, Tram accumulated experiences and honed her skillset from the Financial & Deal Advisory practice at Big 4 accounting firms.
As an entrepreneur turned venture capitalist, Vinnie has always been passionate about building and bridging startup communities from Silicon Valley to Southeast Asia. He is a Kauffman Fellow, a guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore, and rated by the Founder Institute as highest startup mentor in Asia from a pool of 2,500 mentors.
