Dr. Kroumpouzos is a board member of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology and the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Also, he is an editorial board member in 8 peer-reviewed dermatologic journals. He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Women's Dermatology and Dermatologic Therapy, and Editor of Clinics in Dermatology. He is the Topic Editor of the journal Cosmetics. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and 40 book chapters. He is the Editor of 2 monographs and 5 books, including the definitive Text Atlas of Obstetric Dermatology. Dr. Kroumpouzos is passionate about teaching and has delivered lectures as an invited speaker and chaired expert panels at numerous national and international physician conferences. He is the recipient of several scholarships and awards, including awards from the International Union Against Cance r, New England Dermatologic Society, and the Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award at Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
