Patrick O'Callaghan is the founder and CEO of Off-Site Engineering Solutions FZE and has been at the forefront of Off-Site Construction internationally for over 20 years. He has set up operations and run businesses in Jamaica, Ireland, UAE, Qatar, Oman & Saudi Arabia as contractor and module manufacturer and now runs the consulting engineering business specialising in prefabrication and fast track construction systems based in Dubai. Patrick and his specialist team have been an integral part of the new wave of off-site construction technologies and have made significant contributions to policy, systems, innovation, direction and growth within the industry. Qualified with a B.Sc. Engineering (Civil/Structural) & Masters in Business from City University, London. An innovator & inventor, he has achieved a distinctive research thesis and successful industry patents, both in the field of modern construction technology. Patrick is a Fellow of the Ryan Academy of Entrepreneurship in Ireland, a Member of the GLG Council High Table and Member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland. An avid ocean racing and one-design helmsman & skipper with wins in the Miami-Montego Bay Yacht Race, Round Ireland Race and Dubai - Muscat Race. He is a 6 time National Champion (J22) & multiple World Championship participant. A certified PADI diver & Life Member of the Montego Bay Yacht Club, where he has served as Race Committee Chairman & Vice Commodore.
