- Digital Production Manager
Aaron has been bringing his technical skills to the Goldray team since September 2008. As a Digital Production Manager, he splits his time between the office and the factory providing precise design concepts with strong visual impact. Aaron's favorite thing about working at Goldray is the ability to be part of so many unique projects - from conception to completion.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys cycling, reading, and tinkering on electronics and robotics projects with his kids. If Aaron had to describe himself in one word, it would be curious.
Amy joined the Goldray family in November 2019 in Architectural Sales. Currently Amy is the Regional Director responsible for all of Canada. Amy brings an extensive background in commercial construction working with manufacturers, designers, and installers to her role at Goldray.
Outside of work, Amy loves spending time with her family and travelling to warm places. She's also a sucker for a good detective novel. If she had to describe herself in one word, it would be passionate.
Archie joined Goldray in January 2022. He is currently developing our Barketing pack, which will be a team dedicated to launching our new products and providing glass education to fellow enthusiasts in the industry.
When he's not busy working, Archie loves to take long walks through the forest, swim in any body of water he can find (including muddy puddles), and chase leaves that are blowing in the wind. He is only happy when he is snuggling with someone (even through meetings) and believes that he deserves a seat on the couch as much as anyone else. Aside from his day job as Director of Barketing, Archie works to astutely comb the floor for crumbs and spills and takes his part-time role of official Floor Cleaner-Upper very seriously.
Starting in the crating & delivery department, then moving up into pre-press, Barbara finally found her place in R&D. While establishing the current procedures of quality for the lab, Barbara has been testing new products and creating fresh graphic designs for more than twenty years. An alumna of ACAD where she graduated with distinction from glass, she has truly found her calling in the industry, hoping to one day develop a line of art inspired Goldray Glass designs.
In her spare time, Barbara volunteers at the Alberta Craft Council, brings handmade creations to life at her glassblowing studio in Canmore, and drops into local gin tastings. If she could describe herself in one word, it would be eclectic.
Cathie is an innovative award-winning professional in the glass industry. As an active co-founder, she has been a key member of the Goldray family since 1985. During this time, Cathie has managed all facets of the glass manufacturing business at Goldray - from research and development to finance, operations, marketing, and communications.
Cathie holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Calgary, with a focus on corporate strategy and entrepreneurship. Cathie is also a LEED® Accredited Professional and speaks at many events across North America promoting the use of decorative glass in commercial construction. Cathie believes in continuous education and ensures she is knowledgeable about the latest trends in the glass industry by regularly attending international trade shows and seminars.
As Past-Chair of the National Glass Association of North America Cathie places value on volunteering. She collaborates with partners in the industry to provide education, technical resources, and insight into future trends for the promotion and use of decorative glass products.
In February 2015, Cathie was awarded the Decorative Division, Member of the Year Award from the Glass Association of North America (GANA). This distinguished peer-nominated award recognizes members for their dedication to the Association's North American Decorative Division.
The Ellis Don building is stunning and is not short on square footage. However; if you're tight for space and don't have room for a projection screen, switchable glass-in its opaque state-can be used as a high-definition, rear projecting surface, and also has touch screen capability.

Janice Schultz is one of Goldray's longest serving team members, having joined the company in March 1998. Janice keeps Goldray's financials on track, in addition to providing administrative and human resources support. Janice says that even though she hates getting out of bed, she loves coming into work at Goldray. Janice's family members have followed her into the glass business, so she doesn't feel like she comes into work every day - she feels like she comes to a place she loves.
Janice enjoys spending time with her "grandgirls," playing softball and golf in the summer and going on tropical vacations in the winter. If Janice had to describe herself in one word, it would be tenacious.
Jeff has been managing complex design projects for Goldray since August 2012. Jeff oversees our projects from conception to completion, ensuring they remain on time and on budget. As a Journeyman Glazier, with more than 25 years on the tools, Jeff provides clients guidance to get the optimal results based on his hands-on knowledge. One of Jeff's favorite things about working at Goldray is the process of managing difficult design projects, and then getting to actually see the completed glass installation. Jeff enjoys building and developing relationships with clients from across North America and loves when an initial partnership with a client can turn into a long-standing business relationship with multiple projects.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys golf, camping with his horses, and watching his dogs play in the morning over a good cup of coffee. If Jeff had to describe himself in one word, it would be diligent.

Jillian joined Goldray's Account Management team in November of 2020. Designers and installers are supported by her ability to blend functionality and practicality in spaces. Her extensive sales background allows her to anticipate our customers' needs and proactively find solutions. As an Account Manager, Jillian enjoys working on a variety of unique projects, helping our customers find solutions, and collaborating within her team.
In the summer, Jillian can be found camping with her husband, two children, and two dogs, and cheering on her kids at the hockey rink during the winter. Jillian loves cooking and baking, often trying out new recipes or creating some of her own. If Jillian could describe herself in one word, it would be thoughtful.
Jimmy joined the Goldray family in November 1999. Jimmy manages the accurate and efficient distribution and shipping of Goldray glass products. His favorite thing about working at Goldray is the people, as well as the artistic flair required to create architectural decorative glass.
Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family and playing music. If Jimmy had to describe himself in one word, it would be proud.
John is a long-serving member of the Goldray family, having worked for the company since September 1997. As Operations Manager, he manages our equipment, implements manufacturing improvements, and maximizes our company's overall capabilities. John's favorite thing about working at Goldray is the fact that everyone knows his secrets - but they still let him work here!
Outside of work, John likes to do activities that keep him young. If he had to describe himself in one word, it would be "charmcastic" - a combination of charming and sarcastic.
Karleen joined the Goldray family in June 2017 as an Account Manager. Her favorite thing about working with Goldray is the team atmosphere. Karleen's coworkers enjoy her positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Karleen enjoys camping and spending time with her friends and family. If Karleen had to describe herself in one word, it would be dedicated.
Kevin joined Goldray in May 2021 as our Director of Business Development. and is now our Regional Director. Driven by the desire to ensure that every client experience is truly exceptional, he takes pride in uncovering customer needs and crafting and presenting tailor-made solutions. As a collaboration expert, Kevin works closely with our partners and our internal team to continuously improve the service for our customers.
Kevin and his wife have two lovely daughters and a fluffy, gentle giant dog. When he can, he loves to sneak out to K-Country or Fish Creek Park to bomb down trails on his mountain bike or explore craft breweries in search of a new favorite beer.

Laura has been a part of the Goldray family since she started in the marketing department in 2004. Her current role is to forge strategic, long-term relationships with like-minded companies across North America. Laura brings Goldray's expertise and innovative products directly to industry partners to solve problems and look for new opportunities to collaborate.
Laura has a degree in Psychology from the University of Calgary and extensive experience working in marketing and sales. She has also previously worked in early childhood development, which may explain why her clients find her patient and able to tackle any challenge. One of her favorite things about working at Goldray is the positive energy around the office. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing with her husband and spending time outdoors exploring with her two young children and dog. If Laura had to describe herself in one word, it would be upbeat.
Mali brings to our team an analytical mind and a love of numbers. Having worked as a Senior System Specialist/Instructor, Electronics Telecommunication Engineering for the military/defence government of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Telecom, she brings a calm and steady hand to our team. On the softer side, she has two adult sons, a husband and a huge soft spot in her heart for dogs, especially German Shepherds.
Michael has worked in the glass manufacturing industry since 1996, managing many aspects of Goldray's product and system development. Michael has developed various technologies that have allowed Goldray to increase its product capabilities and solve complicated design problems facing architects. Michael engineered, coded, and supported Goldray's ERP software. This custom software not only helps manage the resources of the company, but also controls equipment and tracks orders and costs throughout the company. In addition, Michael has transitioned every manual process at Goldray to automated processes. Michael ensures that Goldray's technical operations support a factory that is consistent and client-focused.
Michael is also passionate about growing the glass market by developing new products and untraditional areas where glass can be utilized. Michael studies technology used in different industries and looks at ways to apply them to the glass industry.
In addition to Michael's technical skills, he is also very product-focused, with a keen eye for design. He has helped create many innovative new glass products - from traction control frit to double-sided frit to paint and graphics technologies.

- Architectural Sales Representative
Mike brings an exceptional knowledge bank in the building envelope and technical data from his Bachelor of Industrial Design Degree. His unique mix of a technical and artistic approach with his customers has led to a solid problem-solving track record. Mike's years of high-performance sales in construction and power sports make him a very interesting chap to talk with.
Outside of the office, Mike is a keen Latin dancer (salsa, bachata), a competitive shooter, as well as a sport motorcycle racer, both on and off-roading. He has a deep love for backcountry camping in our great outdoors.
Nicole has been with the Goldray team since March 2010. As our Procurement Analyst, Nicole oversees our daily purchasing functions and provides support and vision to raise efficiency levels and improve profitability. Nicole's favorite thing about working at Goldray is her coworkers.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with friends and family. If Nicole had to describe herself in one word, it would be dedicated.
Patrika joined the Goldray family in June 2016, first as a member of our Order Entry group. In this role she learned what can be done in the factory and how it is done, which is crucial knowledge to have for her current role as our Resource Planner. Patrika's favorite thing about being on the team is the friendly environment and how everyone is treated like family. Patrika's coworkers say that her outgoing personality makes her a pleasure to work with.
Outside of work, Patrika enjoys exploring her city and taking in activities with her son. If Patrika had to describe herself in one word, it would be optimistic.

Philip joined Goldray at the end of April 2022 as our very first team member completely focused on making our customer experience out of this world. With a Marketing Communications, project management and Service Design background he is the right man for this job.
Philip will gather feedback from the wide range of Goldray stakeholders and implement strategies designed to elevate the Goldray experience at every possible touchpoint.
He is passionate about ideas, design thinking, and inspired by the effect a single exceptional experience can have on customer advocacy.
His interests outside work include spending quality time with his family, good music and the great outdoors… specifically hiking, shredding new mountain bike trails in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Prince has been part of the Goldray family since he was 18 years old. Through the years he has learned everything there is to know about the glass manufacturing process. Prince's favorite thing about working at Goldray is the family spirit.
Outside of work, Prince volunteers as a basketball coach and loves playing sports and cooking. If Prince had to describe himself in one word, it would be determined.

Renee has been providing excellent customer service and strong administrative skills to Goldray clients and employees since August 2013. Her favorite thing about working at Goldray is the fact that it is a family business with great people.
Outside of work, Renee enjoys reading, watching movies (especially documentaries), and hanging out with her family. If Renee had to describe herself in one word, it would be witty.
Rolad joined the Goldray Glass team in April 2018. In his role as an Account Manager, Rolad works with Goldray's sales team to facilitate and streamline the sales process. Rolad's favorite thing about Goldray is that everyone works closely in coordination with one another in achieving the company's goals and objectives.
Outside of work, Rolad spends most of his quality time with his family. If Rolad could describe himself in one word, it would be reliable.

Selwin joined the team in June 2006, and has been providing his skills to a variety of Goldray areas in the factory, including silk-screening, painting, tempering, and laminating. With his expertise and knowledge, Selwin has grown into his current role as Vice President, Manufacturing. Selwin's main responsibility is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the factory and ensuring procedures and policies are being followed to maintain success within production. Selwin strives to ensure Goldray delivers the best quality to the industry and strongly believes a successful company begins with a successful team.
Outside of work, Selwin likes to stay active whether he's in the gym or playing sports. If Selwin had to describe himself in one word, it would be friendly-ish.
Shane has been working for the Goldray team since July 2014. As a graphics specialist, he prepares customer designs and custom patterns to be printed on glass. Shane's favorite thing about working at Goldray is the variety of projects he gets to be a part of.
In his spare time, Shane likes to relax by reading, watching tv, or playing board games. If Shane had to describe himself in one word, it would be caffeinated.
