Global Grassroots is a international (US registered 501(c)(3)) non-profit organization founded in 2004 that supports Conscious Social Change for women and girls in post-conflict countries... Global Grassroots helps vulnerable women initiate social-purpose water enterprises to address issues facing women and girls. Most of the women we work with live in areas with no safe, clean water access, where they or their daughters must walk 1.3 miles, spending 1.5 hours to collect water from a valley creek, spring or hand-dug well.
