GoalArt was started in September 2000 and is based on research in artificial intelligence and automatic control, performed at Lund University, Stanford University, and the Danish Technical University over a total time span of more than 15 years or 35 man-years... We offer intelligent methods for automated monitoring, alarm handling, fault diagnosis, and decision support... GoalArt provides software systems, which help operators and service technicians to understand fault situations and handle these quickly and correctly. This increases both productivity and safety, and speeds up fault diagnosis and repair. We can reduce the number of alarms in a control system drastically, through alarm cleanup, state-based alarm priority, and root cause analysis.
