Kacey Guy Bailey, a Laurel, MS native, joined Glover, Young, Hammack, Walton & Simmons, PLLC in 2019. She has practiced law in Meridian for 15 years. Kacey obtained her undergraduate degree in Politics from Princeton University in 2001. She worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Ronnie Shows (MS-04) before returning home to Mississippi. Kacey graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor degree in 2006. Kacey represents individuals and businesses in civil litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, healthcare law, and medical malpractice and product liability defense. Ronnie L. Walton, a Carthage native, has been a member of the Meridian law firm of Glover, Young, Hammack, Walton and Simmons, PLLC since 1976. He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1971. Prior to entering law school in 1973, he worked as a chemical engineer for Milliken & Company, one of the world's leading textile and chemical companies. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1975. Ronnie practices predominately in the fields of civil litigation (primarily on the defense side), municipal law, commercial and residential real estate, and wills and estates. He has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts ranging from State Justice Court to the Federal Court of Appeals. A partial listing of the types of cases which he has litigated include motor vehicle collisions, railroad crossing collisions, electric line contact injuries, insurance bad faith claims, products liability claims, employment discrimination claims, fire losses, chemical contaminations, lender liability, will contests, real property disputes and contract disputes. Ronnie and his wife, the former Dianne Partridge of Meridian, have two adult sons and six grand-children.
