Alan G. Sawyer

Alan G. Sawyer is the J.C. Penney Professor of Marketing at the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida. He has been at UF since 1984 and was Chair of the Department of Marketing, for a total of 13 years. Dr. Sawyer is a nationally recognized expert in Marketing, having worked as a marketing and research consultant to many business organizations and public agencies including Kodak, Wal-Mart, Proctor & Gamble, The Real Yellow Pages, the US Department of Defense and many others. Dr. Sawyer is extremely well-known for his published research. His publications have been cited more than 1000 times by academics. He has served as a member of numerous editorial boards including the Journal of Consumer Research and The Journal of Marketing, among others. Alan graduated with honors from the University of Maine in 1965 and earned a MBA at Northeastern University in Boston. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing at Stanford University in 1972.

Bill Nelson

Bill Nelson is Chairman and CEO for Home Box Office, responsible for the overall management of the world's largest premium television company, which operates multiple premium networks in the United States, branded joint ventures and On Demand services internationally as well as other ancillary businesses. He was named to this position in June 2007. Previously, Nelson was Chief Operating Officer, a position he held since July 2002. Nelson has been with HBO since May of 1984. Before joining HBO, Nelson worked for Time Inc. as a Director, External Reporting and Risk Management for five years. From 1975 to 1979, he served as an Audit Supervisor for Ernst and Young in New York City, where he became a CPA. Nelson holds a BBA degree in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from Pace University in New York. He also completed Harvard University's Program for Management Development. Nelson is a Vietnam combat veteran, having served with the US Army's 101st Airborne Division.

Edward K. Duch Jr.

Ed has over 35 years of diverse management experience. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Partners for Business, an investment advisory firm he started in 1990. The firm provides Advisory Partnership services focusing on Strategy Formulations, Value Enhancement, Business Development, Operational Efficiencies and Marketing/Sales Planning. Prior to starting his company, he was a bank executive with a multi-state financial institution, where he held positions of increasing responsibility from 1972 to 1990. He was responsible for a variety of areas including Marketing, managing the National Retail Bank, overseeing the Technology and Consumer Lending Areas, as well as various other departments. Ed has also published various articles on marketing and a case study on Electronic Funds Transfer for the Harvard Business School. He received his BS from Canisius College in 1970, his MBA from the State University of NY in 1972 and completed Harvard's PMD program in 1982.

Linda P. Duch

Linda Duch is currently President of Partners for Business, an investment advisory firm started in 1990. Joining the firm full-time in July of 2006, Linda focuses her efforts on new business venture opportunities for the firm. She has been affiliated with the company since its inception. Linda also has over 30 years of diverse experience in banking and sales. She was employed by KeyCorp from 1992 through July of 2006, and was most recently National Executive for District Management. In that position, she coached the banks district Presidents in 23 major markets nationally--developing performance management systems, trouble-shooting policy and client issues and directly developing programs to build revenue and profitability. She served as President of Key Bank's Western New York District from 1997-1999 where she was responsible for over 1500 employees and $3 billion in footings. Prior to Key, Linda spent 16 years at a multi-state financial institution where she held positions of progressive responsibility to the post of 1st Senior Vice-President. Linda received her B.A. summa cum laude from Buffalo State College. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Merchant's Insurance Group. She is a past trustee of the New York State Power Authority and a past recipient of the Athena Award, Buffalo State College's Distinguished Alumni Award, and the "40 Under Forty" Award.
