GorgeouStone is a "GREEN" building product. This light weight precast stone contains natural minerals and clays which make it fireproof and provide insulation values and sound proofing qualities. Other ingredients include recycled glass, sand and various pozzolans, portland cement and water soluble chemistry which make it environmentally friendly to cast on site. GorgeouStone is 'freeze/thaw' resistant due to it's low porosity characteristics. It is also resistant to man made and natural contaminating elements because of it's negligible absorption of atmospheric pollutants... GorgeouStone is sealed with a 20 year warranteed, impregnating sealer which penetrates the stone and creates a chemical bond that permanently attaches to the cement. This sealer is VOC compliant and can earn vital Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) credits given by the U.S. Green Building Council for both new and existing construction projects...
