Kym Martell, CRM, CIC, CRIS, AAI Facilitator, Independent Performance Coach to The Institutes With over 25 years experience in the insurance industry Kym brings Polestar and its clients, a wealth of experience from her diverse background, which includes Agency Management, Risk Management, Sales, Claims and Fraud Prevention, Errors and Omissions and Customer Service.

Steve Thompson, ARM, COSS Facilitator, Independent Executive Consultant to The Institutes Since joining the organization as a Polestar Coach in 2005, Steve has helped hundreds of professionals improve their sales and business skills. Robert Hamburger, CPCU Facilitator, Independent Performance Coach to The Institutes Bob Hamburger joins Polestar as a performance coach and consultant after a 35 year career holding leadership positions with both Chubb Corporation and ProSight Specialty Insurance Company. Bob ™s passion for teaching and coaching insurance professionals is a mainstay of his current focus as an independent consultant, trainer and business executive.
Harry Fine joined the Polestar Team after completing an extremely productive and diverse 27-year career with West Bend Mutual Insurance Company. While at West Bend, Harry served as the Marketing Services Manager for Agency Education and Training, the Manager of Training and Development for HR, and as a Staff Underwriting Manager.
Yet this only begins to tell the Harry Fine Story. Harry ™s start in the industry dates back to 1964 when he served as a commercial lines underwriter for Travelers Insurance Company.
Leaving Travelers in 1970, Harry spent the next six years as a producer for Murphy Insurance Agency and then five more years as the VP of Underwriting for Midland Union Mutual.
Throughout this enduring career, Harry has demonstrated a passion and deep commitment to agent education and training. He has served as a member and president of NMA Kettle Moraine Chapter, SITE president, CPCU member and president of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter, and SME for the State of Wisconsin.
We are honored that Harry selected Polestar to continue his legacy and we are proud to have him as a member of our esteemed circle of coaches and consultants.

Jeff Teschke Facilitator, Independent Performance Coach for The Institutes Jeff is an entrepreneur. In 2000, after graduating from the University of Scranton with honors in Computer Information Systems, Business and Music, he began his career as Webmaster for a Fortune 500 insurance company. He later accepted the position of Director of Product Management for a software and consulting company working with top brands (The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, Intel, Northrop Grumman, Kaiser Permanente and others).

Mary Ann Avnet joined the Polestar team as a Performance Consultant in 2014 after a 43 year career in the insurance industry.
Mary Ann is a licensed agent in Nevada and holds a Chartered Property & Casualty (CPCU) designation as well as an Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designation. She resides in Las Vegas with her husband Steve and has three grown children and two grandchildren. She is an active Rotarian and tries to live their motto of œService Above Self .

Rich DeMartis joined the Polestar team as a Performance Consultant and Coach after a 35 year career in the insurance industry. He spent his last 11 years as a successful Field Sales Leader for Encompass Insurance. In that role, he recruited, appointed, trained and consulted independent agents across the states of Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia.

Mr. Coskren currently serves as Secretary of the New Hampshire CPCU Chapter and is a member of both the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) and the Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators (SITE).
Mr. Coskren has served on the California Department of Insurance Licensing Bureau Curriculum Board, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Board of Directors, the IICF-Child Abuse Prevention Program Board of Directors and the Town of Danville All Wars Memorial Foundation Board of Directors.
A resident of Alton Bay, NH, Mr. Coskren and his wife, Nancy have three grown children and seven grandchildren.

Steven Walker is a Polestar Executive Consultant, while dedicating time to the development of the Polestar Coaching Team. He is also founder and principal with Walker & Associates, a business and consulting services firm specializing in business services, sales training, personal coaching and consulting services. He has a passion for demonstrating the value of relationship development and client-focused, value-added business practices.
With 40 years of insurance industry experience, Steven has built a track record of successful agency and sales management results. After starting his agency career in property & casualty and life & health, he joined an excess and surplus lines national wholesaler, followed by a concentration in specialty markets. Most recently, he was responsible for client retention and organic sales growth with a large national broker.
Over twenty-five years, Steven developed and managed employee benefits programs and workers ™ compensation products and services within the hospital and agricultural industries while working in an executive capacity for the following two non-profit trade associations in California and Arizona:
