David Henry - Chairman

David Henry's professional background spans more than 30 years in management, operations, finance, business practice and consulting. As both a civil engineer and a finance and marketing executive by education and training he has led and advised companies in a diverse array of industries, including professional services firms, on corporate strategy, capital formation, succession/transition planning, and mergers and acquisitions. David serves as a consultant and mentor to executives in emerging growth companies and is successful in helping firm leaders navigate the increasingly complex interplay between corporate strategy, finance and operations. His work experience ranges from valuations to initial public offerings to the design, negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships, acquisitions and ownership liquidity events. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer for both publicly-traded and privately-held companies and as a Chief Operating Officer of businesses in the professional services, distribution, and technology sectors. David founded and managed successful financial advisory and investment firms which specialized in financing and building entrepreneurial growth stage companies. He previously served as the Managing Principal of a successful SBA-licensed Small Business Investment Company and presently is active with a number of high-growth companies as a director, trustee, consultant, investor and advisor. David is a frequent speaker for professional organizations on financial management, raising capital, transition, and growth strategies for businesses. He has an M.B.A., finance and marketing, from Harvard University and B.S.E., magna cum laude, civil engineering, from Princeton University.

Jim Cramer is the founder of Greenway Group and retired in 2017 as Chairman Emeritus. He is the author of several hundred articles and several books, including the critically acclaimed Design Plus Enterprise: Seeking a New Reality in Architecture. He is co-author of How Firms Succeed 5.0: New horizons for the Professional Services Firm, and the editor of the Almanac of Architecture & Design. Cramer is the former chief executive of the American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C. (1988-94), the recipient of more than 80 awards and honors, Honorary member of the AIA ,and a Fellow of the International Leadership Forum in La Jolla, Calif. He is retired as CEO of Greenway Communications, publisher of Design Intelligence and the Design Futures Council. An educator, futurist, and business adviser, he has led retreats about "futures invention" and value migration changes in the design professions. He has a Master of Science from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science from Northern State University. He studied and has Graduate Certificates from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff Michael J. Berens, M.S., Ph.D., is a Principal and leads the research practice at Greenway Group. He has directed research and knowledge management programs for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the AARP. Michael has conducted extensive research and reported on the state of the design industry including annual environmental scanning and analysis, design billings indices, and has published articles for design magazines focused on future trends and forces & factors impacting the design professions. He has managed large scale research projects, created a wide range of industry surveys, and conducted comprehensive literature reviews of design research. Michael is also a freelance writer and editor for businesses and associations in the architecture, interior design, and construction industries. His most recent literature review was research on design for homelessness for Florida State University.

Jürgen Ladendorf is a Consulting Principal with Greenway Group specializing in counseling professional service firms on client/service strategy and organizational development. ….. In 1995, Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP, the UK-headquartered and world's largest marketing communications services conglomerate, commissioned Ladendorf to design and conduct management education programs for senior executives of WPP Group member firms. These programs were inaugurated in the second half of the 1990s in North America, expanded to Europe and subsequently to Asia-Pacific. In parallel to engagements with WPP Group member firms, Jürgen developed and conducted custom-designed in-house executive education programs for major international legal services, accounting/auditing, and architectural design services firms. He accepted invitations from the Australian Graduate School of Management (now part of the University of New South Wales), to design and conduct consortium-formatted management education seminars for partner-level executives of professional service firms operating in the Australasian and Asia-Pacific regions. Firms participating in these consortia included Ernst & Young, Deacons, Goldman Sachs JB Ware, Hewitt Associates, Kellogg Brown Root, Woods Bagot, IBM Services, and the IT Services Division of Telstra. In 2013 Ladendorf entered into a collaboration agreement with the Greenway Group of Atlanta, GA, for management education and consultative services to architectural design firms. Under this agreement, Ladendorf operates as a principal consultant of the Greenway Group and also serves on the faculty of Greenway Group's Global Leadership Certificate Program. Ladendorf currently serves as non-executive Chairman of A-N-D Group plc, a British marine engineering and marine communications company. He served for twelve years as Executive Chairman of The DEI-IDAX Group, a US systems engineering firm that specialized in condition-based predictive production systems management. Ladendorf was Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and member of the Executive Committee of Satellite Business Systems (SBS), of McLean, Virginia, a partnership of IBM, Comsat, and Aetna Casualty and Life. This company developed and operated the world's first satellite-based ISDN private communication system for large multi-national industrial corporations. SBS was fully acquired by IBM. Ladendorf held a Professorship at Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. His teaching fields were operations management, industrial procurement, and industrial marketing. His doctoral research was in corporate finance. Ladendorf received a Master's Degree from Yale University Graduate School of Engineering and Science and a Doctoral Degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

She works with clients to help them improve their performance in the areas of strategic planning, leadership team advisory, succession planning, and marketing and new business strategy. Prior to joining Greenway, Lisa worked with Knoll as Director of regional architecture and design and as a studio director in corporate office design. Lisa's extensive business experience includes designing investment management strategies as a trading advisor and fund manager with Merrill Lynch. Lisa is a Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers and a past national ASID President. She is an allied member of the AIA and has served on the Executive Board of the Design Futures Council, the Board of AEC Cares, and the Phillip J. Steele Art Education Foundation Board. She served as managing director of Greenway Communications, publisher of Design Intelligence magazine and books about the business of design. Lisa has written extensively about design firm management, leadership succession and the role of designers in world change. Lisa is committed to lifelong learning and continues graduate studies as an Executive Scholar at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. She studied at Arizona State University, Hampshire College and Interior Design Institute and has a Bachelor's degree in interior design and extensive advanced studies.
