Damla Akgüner

Damla Akgüner graduated from İzmir Bornova High School in 2008. After spending a year in Germany, she started her undergradet degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Mannheim in 2009 and graduated in 2012. Upon her graduation, she worked with BrainNet Supply Chain Management Consultancy in Germany and with Karcher North America in the United States. İn October 2013, Ms. Akgüner joined the Green Lojistik Consultancy team. She is fluent in English and German, and is responsible for project management and analysis.

A company partner, Ece Doğrucu speaks five languages. She has graduated from the Koç High School and attended Vassar College in New York state with full scholarship, studying International Relations and Italian Literature. Following that, she was awarded the Vassar College Maguire Scholarship for study abroad with which she completed her MA in Human Rights at University College London in the UK. During this time, she has worked in a variety of areas including translation, non-governmental organisations, event planning and sales. Currently residing in London, Ece Doğrucu is responsible for the international arm of Green Lojistik Consultancy

EYÜP OSMAN ŞAHİN

Eyüp Osman Şahin has graduated from the Statistics Engineering department in the Hacettepe University Science Faculty in 1980. He started his career as a programmer in Banker Kastelli the same year. He has worked as Information Chief at Otoyol in 1983, as Systems Design and Research Chief at Nasaş in 1987, at Information Processes Manager at Derimod in 1990, as Information Processes Manager Assistant at Migros in 1992, as Information Technologies Group Leader at Gima in 1998, as General Coordinator at Şarman and at the same time provided and continues to provide Barem, Alpark, Kentshop, Teks]t, Gymnasium, Kahvaltı Diyarı, Fresko Reklam with technological consultation. He is a member of GS Congress, Statistics Alumni Foundation, Salesmen Foundation Board of Directors and Turkey Information Foundation. He is married and has two daughters.

HAKAN KARSLIOĞLU

Graduated from Radford University, USA. Then moved to Istanbul and started to work in Sales Department of Import company. Moved to Retail and work in international companies such as Metro C&C, real and Tesco. Highly experienced, results-producing Senior Retail Director with over 25 years of proven record of accomplishments in purchasing, category management and revenue growth in highly competitive markets and industries. Planning, executing and leading comprehensive purchasing programs and strategies in support of business goals and objectives. Solid leadership skills; excellent team-building skills. Effectively combine strategic planning, leadership, field knowledge and experience to consistently contribute to bottom line objectives. Self-starter, flexible and versatile- able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. Fluent in English and Turkish.

M.ELİF AKAL

After working in retail business as Logistics and Supply Chain manager in Gima, Carrefour and Real,-Hypermarkets for 14 years, she has been working as the Integrated Sales Director in Horoz Logistics for the last 1 year; experiencing the other side of the table. Having the chance of working through company joint ventures and new supply chain structuring positions, M. Elif Akal is a food engineer and graduated from Hacettepe University in 1997.

OSMAN DOĞRUCU

An alumnus of Hacettepe University, Food Engineering, Osman Doğrucu has worked in especially the Retail Logistics sector for companies such as Pınar Et, Maret, Tescokipa, Reysaş for over 20 years and has played a role in the setting up and running of many distribution centres. Doğrucu has contributed to many logistics oriented conferences such as the Cold Chain Conference, Lütfi Kırdar Supply Chain Conferences and the 2010 Berlin Supply Chain Conference(Consumer Goods Forum) as a speaker. Having conducted evaluations in many distribution centres in the UK, France, Slovakia, Hungary, South Korea and Poland, he has also built from scratch and managed for five years a Tescokipa distribution centre that was set on a 240,000 m2 land and was 50,000 m2 itself, where 550 employees worked and a daily average of 100,000 boxes were shipped to approximately 130 stores around the country, that has its own fleet and that cost $50 million in investments. Osman Doğrucu has improved upon his years of experience by joining the Izmir University of Economics as a lecturer in the Logistics Management Department conducting lessons on Warehouse Management and project management with MBA students. He continues to consult the department on industrial projects.

Sadik AKYAR

Sadik AKYAR retired voluntarily from Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) in 2014 as Staff Colonel. He conducted operational and logistical posts at home, abroad and NATO, and was a senior manager of modernization projects (JSF, MILGEM, ALTAY, UAV, Military Vehicle, etc.), resource management, FMS and NSPA acquisitions as well. Following his retirement, he worked in the management of international projects in Green Logistics. These include a fuel company (UN fuel tender) and U-Project/Ankara companies. He continues his international consultancy duties in the following special areas of interest below.
