Andrew is a seasoned attorney with a proven track record of providing practical, strategic advice and counsel to stakeholders on a variety of corporate law and transactional matters in the emerging companies and venture capital ecosystem. As the former lead in-house counsel for two venture-backed consumer product companies and a senior associate at one of the world's leading venture capital law firms, he brings a unique blend of legal acumen, business savvy, operating insights and a results-driven approach to Grellas Shah.
Ms. Bashir is a graduate of UC Hastings College of Law and a member of State Bar of California.

Ms. Bashir has almost a decade of experience as an immigration and naturalization attorney, focusing on employment (H-1b, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2/EB-3, TN, E-2, PERM, national interest waiver NIW), family, investment (EB-5), and complex immigration matters.

A member of the firm since 2019, Da advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including equity financings, corporate governance, M&A, technology transactions, commercial contracts, and privacy and data security. Da focuses on advising tech startups, from early stage to venture capital financing, to exists through M&A.
Da received his B.S. from Shandong University and M.S. from University of Arkansas. He received his J.D. from Santa Clara University, with Dean's List and Emery Scholar honors. Prior to joining Grellas Shah, Da practiced with national law firms Perkins Coie LLP and Dechert LLP, specializing in IP litigation. He also worked as a legal counsel at a Chinese technology company and as a corporate associate at a Silicon Valley boutique firm. Da is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken.
Da Zhuang is a transactional associate with Grellas Shah. A member of the firm since 2019, Da advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including equity financings, corporate governance, M&A, technology transactions, commercial contracts, and privacy and data security.
David is licensed to practice in California and New York. He has extensive experience in both state and federal courts and has done in-depth work connected with SEC investigations, including managing a team of 30 lawyers in defending a client in a particularly intensive investigation.
David is an unusual startup lawyer in having done sophisticated legal work in both transactional and litigation matters: he is an accomplished startup lawyer and litigator who has extensive experience with our firm in handling a broad range of corporate, transactional, and intellectual property matters, including work on multi-million dollar financings and acquisitions, all in addition to having a deep expertise in handling complex intellectual property, corporate, and commercial litigation matters.
Erin Adrian is an associate attorney at Grellas Shah, where she focuses on commercial litigation. Ms. Adrian has handled a wide range of complex litigation matters, including complex contract, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, defamation, and other matters.
For over 25 years, George has practiced business, corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law in Silicon Valley and has served as a business and corporate lawyer for a broad range of startup and business clients, from sole proprietorships to leading companies in the high tech field.
Holly provides corporate tax advice to multinational companies, ranging from startups expanding into global markets to multi-billion dollar companies engaged in complex internal restructurings, acquisitions, transfer pricing matters, and U.S. and foreign audit defense. She is known for her practical, business-oriented advice in implementing crossborder structures and is viewed as a trusted advisor to internal tax professionals as well as finance and operational executives.
Holly is of counsel with the firm. With 25 years of experience serving multinational clients. Holly has extensive experience in corporate international tax, including advising on business acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, foreign tax planning, and tax-efficient intangible property management.

Joseph W. Guzzetta is an attorney with Grellas Shah, LLP. His practice is two-fold - he is a litigator and counselor in privacy law. Mr. Guzzetta has been successfully trying cases in California courts and non-judicial venues for almost 20 years. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, from inception through discovery, summary judgment and trial. Mr. Guzzetta is also an expert in privacy law, and counsels clients on compliance with emerging privacy laws, cross-border data transfers and privacy issues in corporate financings, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Guzzetta is the author of the leading treatise on California privacy law, The Rutter Group's California Practice Guide: Privacy Law, which is published annually and available on Westlaw.com and in print from Thomson Reuters.

Prior to joining Grellas Shah, Mr. Guzzetta was an attorney in the cyber/data/privacy group at Cooley LLP. Before Cooley, he practiced as a litigator and privacy lawyer at Severson & Werson, P.C., Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, all in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Mr. Guzzetta earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law in 2004, where he was named a Robert McKay Scholar. Mr. Guzzetta earned his bachelor of arts degree in Economics and Legal Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2001, where he was awarded Highest Honors in both majors, and College Honors from Kresge College.

Katherine Hart is a transactional associate with Grellas Shah.
A member of the firm since 2017, Katherine advises clients on a range of transactional matters, including corporate governance, equity financings, and M&A transactions. Katherine focuses her practice on advising tech startups, from early-stage bootstrapped ventures to venture-backed companies.
Katherine moved back to her hometown of Boston in 2019, and joined a Vault Law 100 firm in Boston, before returning to Grellas Shah in 2021.
Ms. Hart received her JD from The University of Michigan Law School. While at Michigan, she participated in an interdisciplinary problem solving initiative, speaking at the capstone presentation on connected vehicles. Ms. Hart was also the treasurer of the Business Law Association and a board member of the Student Funded Fellowship, which funds scholarships for public interest law students.
Prior to law school Ms. Hart graduated from American University's Honors program and received her Bachelors of Arts, cum laude, in Philosophy and Law & Society.

He was a transactional attorney in Fangda Partners, a top-tier Chinese law firm, advising on cross-border banking and finance matters for major international financial institutions. Paul is of counsel with the firm. As a patent attorney who focuses on patent prosecution, Paul has been on the front lines of patenting technological advancements in computers and electronics for nearly a quarter century.
