Our factory was established in 1943 by the name S.H.Mumtazuddin by two brothers namely haji mumtazuddin and Mohd. Saeed in old Delhi.In the beginning the firm started manufacturing metal covers for spectacles. In 1947 a shop dealing in wrist watches was established at 4,Radha Bazar Street, Kolkata namely S.H.Mumtazuddin as its head office in kolkata and factory at 1834,Lal Larwaza ,Sirkiwalan ,Delhi 6. Later in 1950s the factory diversified in making wall clock accessories as bezels and pendulum for wall clocks.The establishment also started manufacturing mechanical tower clocks mechanism as well as mechanical movement of wall clocks. Haji Mumtazuddin expired in 1966 and after that Mohd. Saeed's elder son Aslam Saeed stepped in 1968. The firm was reconstituted in 1968 as Mohd. Saeed..
