Anika Horn

Anika Horn has devoted her career to working with social entrepreneurs from around the world building mission-driven businesses. Her studies took her from Germany to France and Australia before graduating with a Master's degree in Sustainability Sciences (M.Sc.). Drawing from her experiences across all sectors, Anika has established herself as both a startup coach and mentor. At Social Ventures Australia, she specialized in funding and performance evaluation of social entrepreneurs focused on indigenous communities. As a freelance consultant, Anika devised corporate sustainability strategies for small and medium-sized companies and provided business development support to social startups. At the DO School, an impact accelerator, she trained and mentored over 60 social startup founders from around the world, devised curricula and massive open online courses (MOOCs), and managed a global online learning community. Most recently, Anika launched Social Venturers, a think tank that analyzes best practices in empowering social entrepreneurs. In this role, she explores the potential of social enterprise with incubators, accelerators, and impact investors across Europe and the U.S. (www.socialventurers.com). Based in Richmond, Anika is in charge of mentor relations at local business accelerator Lighthouse Labs. She is a guest-lecturer for social entrepreneurship at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. Most recently, she organized #RVABiscuitLove with a team of devoted volunteers and runs VCU's pre-accelerator for student entrepreneurs.

LaTilda Hudnall Owens

LaTilda is an active member of the She Empowers Advisory Council, a business mentor with Richmond's Office of Minority Business Development, a business consultant for Virginia Community Capital and a financial analyst for the Commonwealth of Virginia. LaTilda Hudnall Owens, MBA was born and raised in Northumberland County located in the beautiful Northern Neck region of Virginia. LaTilda attended Hampton University in Hampton, VA where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. In 2004, LaTilda began her professional career at Wachovia Securities in Richmond, VA as a Brokerage Operations Specialist and a Corporate Accountant. Eventually, she moved on to Genworth Financial where she remained employed as Senior Financial Analyst until July 2013. During her professional career, LaTilda obtained her Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting. In 2013, she established LHO Solutions, LLC, a small business consulting firm offering financial analysis, accounting, and strategic planning to area small businesses. LaTilda has a passion for helping others succeed and reach their goals. She believes she is fulfilling her purpose by touching one business at a time. Throughout her career, LaTilda has planned, organized and participated in numerous community outreach events which has served the underprivileged and at-risk members of her community. LaTilda is happily married and the Mother of four. In her free time, LaTilda enjoys serving in the Children's Ministry at her church, traveling, acting, and being a Sports Mom.

Robin Green

Robin Green is the owner of Ascend Performance, Inc., an authorized Sandler Training Center. He has led high-performing sales team across multiple industries for more than 20 years. Robin believes that salespeople are not born but made. Regardless of personality or experience, business owners and entrepreneurs need not fear sales activities. Through a systematic approach, any motivated professional can master the science of selling in an authentic, dignified way. Before starting his own company, Robin had a long and successful career with Pfizer. In 2013, he served as the Sales Director at Royall & Company, where new sales grew by 94% during his 3-year tenure. Prior to entering the business world, Robin was a college baseball coach and admissions director. Robin earned the Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, where he was named his department's "Outstanding Graduate Student." He lives in Chesterfield with his wife and two kids. He likes to read, run and has always enjoyed a good baseball game.
