Amy has 32 years of experience in the California Workers' Compensation claim industry. As a Senior Workers' Compensation Examiner, she works directly with injured employees and members to administer benefits and guide them through the claims process. She is claim certified and has her Self Insurance Plan Certificate.
Brenda has over 20 years of experience in the California Workers' Compensation claim industry. As a Senior Workers' Compensation Examiner, she works directly with injured employees and members to administer benefits and guide them through the claims process. She is claim certified and has her Self Insurance Plan Certificate. More recently, her responsibility has expanded to that of adjusting property and liability claims for member entities.
Cathy has 12 years of experience in public entity accounting processes. As Operations Manager, she is assistant to the Chief Operations Officer. She is responsible for all aspects of operations required for a smooth running workplace. She also oversees bookkeeping, accounting and employee benefits data management.

Cynthia worked in various aspects of GSRMA processes for 27 years prior to her retirement in 2016. She is currently back and working behind the scene to assist the organization with consistency and accuracy of electronic data and special projects.

Dave has nearly 40 years of experience leading the delivery of enterprise-class information systems including more than 15 years specifically for risk pools and self-insurance groups. He is responsible for overall information systems strategy, management and resources. Dave serves on the Technology Committee for the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA).
Erica brings with her over 10 years of workers' compensation and insurance experience, as well as past jobs in the US and abroad for the DOD. As an Executive Assistant, Erica will be taking a lead on many of our media and outreach projects. She will be instrumental in helping to plan and organize our events, trainings, and conferences. Erica will also directly assist our Management Team with new projects and implementation. Erica also serves as board clerk for all GSRMA board meetings.

Evonn brings with her several years of administrative assistant as well as accounts payable experience. As an Administrative Assistant, Evonn will be the first point of contact for our members. In addition to answering calls and helping members, Evonn will also assist with claims administration, member outreach, and more.
Jake has a Bachelors degree from CSU Chico and has extensive experience in retail service and manufacturing. In addition to management responsibilities in those environments, he has a deep knowledge of web development, technical writing, and visual design.

Jennifer has more than 20 years of financial accounting and management experience including more than 5 years working with governmental risk pools in California. She is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for GSRMA. She also oversees Employee Benefits department, primarily related to the member billing aspect of the program.
Jennifer has over 15 years of safety officer and risk management experience. She currently oversees the Member Services, Safety and Loss Prevention areas of GSRMA where she is responsible for the implementation and administration of services and risk management programs. As a risk manager, she advises members on risk exposure and coverage issues. Jennifer serves on the Accreditation Committee for California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA) and serves as the Chair of the Member Services Committee for Public Risk Innovation, Solutions and Management (PRISM).
Liz provides coverage and policy administration such as underwriting, reviewing, researching, and analyzing coverage documents. She assists members and internal staff with risk management and coverage questions as well as managing certificate and contract review, oversees exposure data management and related underwriting activities. Liz participates in the analysis of actuarial and exposure information as part of the member allocation and rate setting process.

Naomi has 18 years of experience in the insurance and risk pooling industries. She manages all member-facing aspects of our Employee Benefit Program including member HR personnel support, employee meetings, development of health plan descriptive and promotional materials and our member communication regarding employee benefits. She also serves on Public Risk Innovation, Solutions and Management's (PRISM) Health Committee.
Rick has over 20 years of experience in technology consulting with emphasis in computerized accounting systems. He is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for GSRMA as well as managing the administration and operations. Rick is a long-time member and Past-Chair of the Technology Committee for Public Risk Innovation, Solutions and Management (PRISM) and the Technology Committee for the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA).
Ryan Brannon is GSRMA's newest Risk Control Advisor and brings with him over 12 years of law enforcement and military experience. Ryan holds a degree in Criminal Justice and is excited to continue his education to better serve members in his Risk Control Advisor capacity. Ryan provides safety trainings, site inspections, and member services support to current and prospective members.
Ryan recently achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from CSU, Chico. As our Accounting Technician he is responsible for a variety of bookkeeping and accounting functions. He is also instrumental in the billing side of our Employee Benefits Program.

Sam's formal education is in Computer Engineering and he has practical experience in SQL server development, tech support and web development. He is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing applicable functional areas in support of organizational objectives such as those related to cyber security, reporting and analytics. Sam provides strategic direction and project management as well as oversight for systems and technology in a wide range of areas. Sam serves on the Technology Committee for the California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA).
Scott has been involved in California pool management since 1988. He is the Risk Manager and Executive Director of GSRMA. His responsibilities include overall pool management, recommendation of and communication with re-insurance carriers, evaluation and recommendation of vendors and business partners and communication with the GSRMA Board of Directors. Scott serves on Public Risk Innovation, Solutions and Management's (PRISM) Board, Executive and Underwriting committees, CAJPA Board of Directors and PRISM ARC (PRISM's Captive).
Steve has held numerous positions in the safety and loss prevention field for a variety of government and corporate organizations. His focus is on member loss prevention with an emphasis on safety training and site visits. He supports the Assistant Risk Manager with the implementation and administration of loss prevention training programs including both online and on-site training. Steve is a Certified Safety Management Specialist. Steve serves on Public Risk Innovation, Solutions and Management's (PRISM) Risk Control Committee.
Tim has a Bachelors degree in criminal justice and as a graduate of Delta College P.O.S.T academy. He has 5 years of practical experience in both government and private industry including developing and presenting training materials, fleet management, data analytics, telematics, etc., especially related to fire response entities.
Tracey has 37 years of experience in Administrative Support and two years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant. She is responsible for providing support to the Claims Examiners in their daily tasks and will continue to facilitate communications among our members and business partners as it relates to this department.
Tricia has 30 years of experience in the California Workers' Compensation claim industry. She manages our claims department and is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day claims handling, operations and supervision of all activities within the workers' compensation claims department. She also has extensive experience in claims auditing and claims examiner oversight and training. She has her Self Insurance Plan Certificate and is certified to adjust claims in California.
