Guttersmiths was founded in Madison, WI by John Briggs in 2007. After graduating college in NY with a BA in History in 2005, John worked for a couple years at an historic restoration company owned by a lifelong friend in their hometown of Baltimore, MD. There he learned the basic principles of half round gutter installation, architectural copper work, and restoration carpentry. Following his move to Wisconsin in 2007 to care for an elderly parent, John continued to do the same type of restoration work under the company name Guttersmiths... Guttersmiths is proud to be the area's only installer with a half round gutter machine. As of 2022, we can now provide to our customers 6" half round gutters in seamless lengths.
