Adeola is our Administrative Assistant and Head Bookkeeper. She is degreed Business Manager. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Jos, Plateau State in Nigeria. She lived and grew up in Nigeria where she worked in different teams in the Accounting Department of Shell Development Company Nigeria and Shell Nigeria Production and Exploration Company for several years before relocating to the US in 2019.In the US, she worked for a Tax Specialist and Bookkeeping Firm before Joining Stephen P. Gunby & Associates in 2022. When not at work, Adeola enjoys relaxing, traveling and spending time with family.

Evan is a Degreed Accountant and Certified Estate Planner. Evan earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico, where he grew up and first practiced accounting in the auditing department at a major, international public accounting firm. Evan later moved to California where he practiced all facets of accounting and tax preparation as an independent accountant with his own firm. In 2013, Evan became a happy transplant to the New York and New Jersey area. He joined the Stephen P. Gunby & Associates accounting team in 2016 and has been proudly serving our clients' needs ever since. When not at work, Evan enjoys playing and recording music and relaxing on Lake Hopatcong.

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rutgers University, School of Management, and attained his CPA designation with the State of New Jersey. Before joining the firm, Jeff worked for a mixture of regional and national accounting firms as well as private companies across several industries. He enjoys working with clients and building relationships with them.

Lorraine is a Degreed Accountant and a FINRA Registered Representative. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from William Paterson University. Previously, Lorraine had worked for a number of public accounting firms and has served as Operations Manager for a small privately held manufacturing company. Lorraine works closely with various clients on their bookkeeping, accounting and tax needs. She has extensive experience in income tax preparation for individuals and businesses, and is our expert in litigation support. When not at work, Lorraine enjoys yoga, the beach and is an avid advocate for homeless animals and works extensively with a local animal rescue group.

Stephen has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988, having earned his Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York in 1985. Before starting his own firm, Stephen worked for one of the largest regional accounting firms in the State of New Jersey for eleven years, where he obtained the status of Manager. He worked on all facets of the firm's clients, including audits, financial statements, tax planning, and tax preparation, before deciding to try the waters in private accounting. Stephen left the firm to work as the Controller for a leading electronics retailer before transitioning to a privately held marketing and direct mail firm as their Controller. After six years in private accounting Stephen realized he missed helping a wide spectrum of clients and left to start his own accounting firm in 2002. He has been serving the accounting, tax, and financial needs of his clients ever since. In addition to being a CPA, Stephen holds the following securities licenses - Series 6, 63, and 65, as well as life and health insurance licenses. When not working, Stephen is an avid sports fan. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and is an animal rights advocate who works with a local animal rescue group.
