Becky Barnett joined Hayden Harper in 2021, and serves as a Senior Bookkeeper on the Business Advisory team. Becky brings over eight years of experience in full charge bookkeeping. She is responsible for overseeing bookkeeping for various Business Advisory clients.
Becky earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University. Becky and her husband, Jason, have two children and a labradoodle named Barkley. When she is not visiting the children at their respective colleges, she enjoys watching football, reading, and volunteering.

Brooke Wilson joined Hayden Harper in July 2020, and serves as a Senior Operations Associate for the Wealth Advisory and Family Office team. She brings over six years of experience in residential and commercial land development and construction, where she specialized in office administration and bookkeeping.
Brooke earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Public Health from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. A native of North Carolina, she lives in Charlotte with her daughter and in her free time, enjoys spending time with family, reading, and being outdoors.
Charlotte F. Renner joined Hayden Harper in 2003, and serves as the Managing Director for the Wealth Advisory team. Charlotte brings over 20 years of experience in the investment business, managing all operational functions for Hayden Harper Advisory. She is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Hayden Harper's wealth service offerings to individual and family office clients as well as managing operations including account administration and compliance.
Charlotte earned her undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky. She and her husband Chris have two children. In her free time, Charlotte is passionate about serving at local charitable service organizations within her community and at her church. She also loves to cook and entertain and never turns down the opportunity to host an event.
Cindy Weatherman joined Hayden Harper in May 2021 as a Controller. Prior to joining Hayden Harper, Cindy led the Accounting function for several privately held businesses in the Metals, Retail and Hospitality Industries.
Cindy earned her undergraduate degree in Economics with a concentration in Business from UNC Charlotte. She and her family live in Matthews and love to travel. In her free time, she enjoys cooking. She also solves puzzles of all kinds, but particularly crosswords, both for leisure and competitively.
Clare Spafford joined Hayden Harper Tax Advisory in 2023, and serves as a Tax Associate. Clare works with Jonathan Troutman on tax planning and compliance for Hayden Harper Advisory clients.
Before joining Hayden Harper, Clare received her undergraduate and master's degrees in accounting from Auburn University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Jared Wiesehan joined Hayden Harper in June 2018, and serves as Business Advisory's Director of Operations. Jared brings financial and accounting experience through working with Deloitte in the Audit & Assurance practice prior to Hayden Harper. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Hayden Harper's service offerings to businesses and families, as well as managing the firm's daily operations including client reporting and deliverables, new client on-boarding and communication.
Jared earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from East Carolina University. Jared and his wife, Haelli, live in Charlotte and have one daughter and two dogs. As a local Charlottean, Jared and his family love trying to new places in the city as Charlotte's growth continues. He also enjoys playing golf, taking trips around the state to the mountains and beaches, and attending Charlotte Knights and Carolina Panthers games.
John W. Teed joined Hayden Harper in 2009. As an Independent Advisor, John manages individual client investment portfolios and provides investment advisory services to a number of clients. Prior to his career in the investment industry, John was a Lieutenant in the US Army. John began his career in the financial services sector with Merrill Lynch. In 2001, he launched the Gaskin Teed Fund and continues to manage the portfolio for this Fund.
John earned his undergraduate degree in Physics from Davidson College. He and his wife Karen have two children.
Jonathan Troutman joined Hayden Harper in 2019. He has over 10 years of tax and accounting experience aimed at serving small to medium-size enterprises. Jonathan specializes in working with businesses in the hospitality industry, service industry, construction and real estate industry, and with franchisors. Jonathan enjoys helping business owners comply with the internal revenue code while minimizing their tax liability.
Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree at Elon University and received his master's degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the North Carolina Association of Public Accountants.

Joshua Eby joined Hayden Harper in September 2020, and serves as a Senior Accounting Associate. Josh's experience includes government accounting for the Allegheny County Controllers Office and corporate accounting specialized to the manufacturing industry.
Josh earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Geneva College in 2017. A native of Western Pennsylvania, Josh moved to Charlotte in 2020 to indulge in the opportunities the community presented. In his spare time, Josh enjoys hiking, running, and traveling.

Leslie Estep joined Hayden Harper in 2018, and serves as a Relationship Manager. Leslie is a business leader with a passion for people, making connections, and executing ideas. She works with our family office clients and business owners to understand their needs, develop plans to address them and help optimize their operations.
After 18+ years in the corporate world, Leslie left to combine her business acumen and desire to impact people through small business. She works side-by-side with the owner of the Hayden Harper holding company to optimize the health and financial performance of the portfolio companies.
Leslie earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a masters degree in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. She and her husband Jason have two sons. Leslie and her family have a love for football, Charlotte Christian School, and connecting with people in underserved neighborhoods.
Michael D. Fox is the founder of Hayden Harper Advisory, LLC, an advisory firm established in 2002, located in Charlotte, NC. The firm's vision is to impact and enrich clients' lives through sound planning and management of their entrusted financial resources. Michael is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they work toward attaining true financial freedom. He is dedicated to helping clients discover the characteristics of their financial lives and guide them on their stewardship journey as they work toward defining and reaching their personal goals.
Michael graduated with honors from the Miami University of Ohio.
Michael and his wife Kathleen have four children. He is an active member of his church community and enjoys playing golf and coaching his children's sports teams.
Nikki McManus joined Hayden Harper in October 2023, and serves as an Associate for the Business Advisory team. She is responsible for overseeing bookkeeping and various accounting functions for Business Advisory Clients.
Nikki earned her undergraduate degrees in Finance and Real Estate from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. In her free time, Nikki enjoys traveling and reading.
Scott C. Cannady, CFP® joined Hayden Harper in 2014 as a Partner and Advisor. He is responsible for leading the advisory firm and providing families and businesses with financial guidance. Scott has over 20 years of experience in financial services working with high net worth families and businesses on investment management, financial planning, insurance, trust and estates, and private banking. Prior to joining Hayden Harper, Scott spent nine years as a Client Advisor and Senior Vice President with First Citizens Bank's Private Wealth Advisory Group in Charlotte, NC.
Scott earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Finance from North Carolina State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He became a Certified Financial Planner® in 2003 and has held various securities and insurance licenses.
Scott and his wife Mary have been married 20 years and have two children. He enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains, playing golf and serves as a Deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Sherri L. Palmer joined Hayden Harper in April 2007, and serves as the firm's Operations Manager. Sherri helps assist with all operational functions and is responsible for maintaining accounting and bookkeeping records for all financial transactions: cash accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, ledger for all Hayden Harper business units.
Before joining Hayden Harper, Sherri was employed for 10 years at Coca Cola Bottling Company Consolidated as Assistant to the Vice President of Cold Drink and several Directors. Sherri has also served in Human Resources, Accounting and Banking Loans and Operations positions. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, serving at her church as well as spending time with her four grandchildren.
Thomas Eldridge joined Hayden Harper in 2024 and serves as an Associate on the Business Advisory team. He is responsible for managing accounting functions for various Business Advisory and Family Office clients. Prior to joining Hayden Harper, Thomas spent three years playing professional golf and three years in the financial services industry.
Thomas earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, being an active member at Oakhurst Baptist Church, playing ultimate frisbee, & BBQ.
