Dr. Baron Williamson

Dr. Baron Williamson, a native of Baton Rouge, is a graduate of LSU Medical School and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Williamson is a board certified ophthalmologist and cosmetic surgeon specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, eyebrows and face. He is the founder of one of the first centers in the United States devoted exclusively to cosmetic laser surgery, and he has pioneered the use of the CO2 laser for eyelid surgery and laser skin resurfacing. Dr. Williamson has been Louisiana's leading provider of Botox and popularized the "Weekend Neck Lift" procedure. In addition, he has performed thousands of cataract surgeries specializing in the "lifestyle improvement lenses". He is well known for his management of eye disease, including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Williamson has written numerous articles, lectured extensively and served as a medical consultant for the laser industry, training physicians from around the world in state-of-the-art laser techniques.

Dr. Daniel Bonnette

Dr. Daniel Bonnette, a native of Calhoun, graduated with honors from University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and completed his internship and residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Ophthalmology. Dr. Bonnette is a Board Certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist and surgeon who takes care of patients with a wide range of eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, retinal conditions, and corneal disorders. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery including state of the art, all-laser LASIK and premium intraocular lens implantation. Dr. Bonnette has co-authored several studies and presentations and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Louisiana State Medical Society. Dr. Bonnette is excited to be back in West Monroe and practice alongside a group of doctors that have shown their commitment to providing the highest quality of eye care possible.

Dr. Jim Eaton

Therapeutic optometrist Dr. Jim Eaton provides patients complete primary eye care, including comprehensive eye exams with diagnosis and treatment of most medical eye problems as well as eyeglasses and contact lens prescriptions and consultations. In addition to primary care and medical treatment of the eye, Dr. Eaton specializes in gas permeable/rigid and soft contact lenses. With careful assessment, he helps patients determine which type of lens is best for their medical condition, lifestyle and individual needs. Dr. Eaton received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern State University and went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. For the past 32 years Dr. Eaton has been providing comprehensive eye care and optical services in Louisiana.

Dr. Kim Dinh

Dr. Kim Dinh is a dual fellowship trained ophthalmologist in the subspecialties of glaucoma and corneal disease. She specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal diseases in addition to laser vision correction. Dr. Dinh completed her undergraduate and medical degrees from Louisiana State University. She subsequently went to University Hospital and Clinics, Lafayette for her internship and Louisiana State University-Shreveport for her residency. She then completed a dual fellowship at Your Eye Specialists in Plantation, FL. She is experienced in advanced surgical training on new, minimally invasive techniques for glaucoma surgery and corneal transplantation. She has extensive experience in laser cataract surgery and small incision, no-stitch cataract surgery as well as the implantation of toric and multifocal intraocular lens implants. Dr. Dinh is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and brings a new level of expertise to Northeast Louisiana.

JONATHAN SCOGIN

Dr. Scogin grew up in Monroe and is a graduate of ULM and the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. He is committed to providing comprehensive personal eye exams to all patients. His training included the very latest techniques in optometry and he continues to explore new advances in eye care. Dr. Scogin aspires to the new generation of partnerships between optometrists and ophthalmologist in order to provide patients with better treatment and follow-up.

Mrs. Emily Duchesne

Mrs. Duchesne is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also certified by the American Board of Opticianry. Mrs. Owens went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in Searcy, AR. Mrs. Owens is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also certified by the American Board of Opticianry. Mrs. Owens brings experience, knowledge of complex ophthalmic anatomy, and skill in the management of primary care and ocular diseases in adults, children and special needs patients to Haik Humble Eye Center.

Besides offering comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, he has extensive experience in family eye care, including cataract and glaucoma management.
