Hamilton Laboratories is an independent software vendor (ISV) founded in September, 1987 by Nicole Hamilton in Wayland, Massachusetts. Since 2002, we've been located in Redmond, Washington, a suburb of Seattle... In creating Hamilton Laboratories, our objectives were deeply personal. The first was to express our own creativity, building a wonderfully engineered product, tackling a meaningful problem. We loved compilers and operating systems and the C shell combined both of these. But we also wanted it to be of exceptional quality, something people would genuinely like using. For us, software is art. We wanted to build something elegant and beautiful.
