Doug P. Haack

Doug Haack, Investment Advisor, has been serving clients for over 25 years. Before joining Hamrick Investment Counsel, from 2010 to 2019 he was a principal at Cornerstone Advisors in Bellevue, Washington. Doug grew up on Long Island and moved with his family to Seattle in 1977. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He received an MBA from City University and also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. He is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. He greatly enjoys helping individuals and families craft an investment strategy to meet their personal values and vision. Doug and his wife, Karin, live in Seattle with their labradoodle, Hank. They have two adult children, Cliff and Rylie. Doug also enjoys mentoring young people, spending time with family, traveling and practicing yoga.

Luke E. Hannah

Luke Hannah, Office Manager, attended Kent State University and the University of Washington, earning a BS in mathematics and an MA in philosophy, specializing in ethics and logic. He joined Hamrick Investment Counsel in 2019. In addition to his work with Hamrick Investment Counsel, Luke is also the owner and primary tutor of Central Test Prep.

Roy A. Hamrick

Roy A. Hamrick, Emeritus Senior Portfolio Manager, was born in San Francisco in 1951 and graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1973. He formerly worked in the brokerage department of Rainier National Bank and as investment specialist on the Securities and Company Information Desk of the Seattle Public Library. In 1988 he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and past president of the CFA Society of Seattle. He has served in a number of volunteer positions for nonprofit organizations, including as a member of the investment committee of Temple De Hirsch Sinai and as chair of the investment committee of the Pride Foundation. He currently serves as Treasurer of Congregation Tikvah Chadashah and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. In 2007, the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) presented Roy with its prestigious "Business Man of the Year" award.

Todd M. Wathey

Todd M. Wathey, Portfolio Manager, was born in Arizona in 1978 and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Non-Profit Management from Northern Arizona University in 2001. In 2009 he received an MBA with honors from the Albers School of Business at Seattle University and subsequently has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. He has worked in the investment management industry since 2003, serving both retail and institutional investors. Prior to joining Hamrick Investment Counsel, he worked at Parametric Portfolio from 2005 to 2009 as a portfolio manager implementing the firm's tax-sensitive investment strategy for high net-worth clients. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as a portfolio manager at Pacific Portfolio Consulting, developing and managing investment strategies for individuals and families. Todd also serves as Treasurer of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church.
