ALBERT TORRES

Albert joined Arcadia in January of 2017 after an extensive career in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served as Division Chief and Engineering Officer. While functioning as Division Chief, Albert supervised the maintenance and repair of the damage control equipment, including all fire suppression systems, firefighting equipment, and the repair and salvage gear onboard the ship. He also managed the maintenance and repair of all hydraulic equipment, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, main propulsion and generator diesel engines. Eventually Albert assumed the role of Engineering Officer, managing the department, which included all equipment and systems from IT services to potable water. During Albert's career he has participated in the relief efforts to Haiti after the devastating earth quake in 2010, counter drug operations in the Caribbean, and fisheries patrols from the Bering Sea to the Kingdom of Tonga.

Andrew Bunn

Andrew Bunn is the Executive Director of the Hawaii Conference Foundation, which invests, holds, and manages property for the benefit of the Hawaii Conference of the United Church of Christ. Prior to joining the Hawaii Conference Foundation, Mr. Bunn was a partner in the Honolulu law firm of Chun Kerr, LLP, where he concentrated in the areas of real estate and general business law, including commercial leasing, condominium and rental housing development, business and real estate acquisitions and sales. He also did extensive work with ecclesiastical organizations. Mr. Bunn received his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and his Juris Doctor from the Williams S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii at Mānoa. Prior to law school, Mr. Bunn worked in Washington, D.C. with the German Marshall Fund of the United States, a foundation devoted to improving U.S. - European relations and public policy. Mr. Bunn is active in the community and has served on many boards and committees, including the United Church Insurance Association, the Punahou Alumni Association, the Pacific Club, the Honolulu Chamber Music Series, the Real Property and Financial Services Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Association of Conference Attorneys. He also acts as an arbitrator for the Court Annex Arbitration Program and maintains his membership in the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. When not working, Mr. Bunn enjoys the playing music, tennis, outdoor activity and travel.

BREE KOMAGOME

Bree received a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She returned home and received a J.D. in Environmental Law from the William S. Richardson School of Law. Through her varying careers Bree has found her passion for serving others and the community. Bree has a love for food and cooking. She enjoys experiencing life and making memories with her son, Tydon and daughter, Tharie.

CORLIS J. CHANG

Corlis Chang concentrates her solo law practice in the area of litigation with particular emphasis on personal injury, products liability, municipal law, malpractice and insurance cases. Ms. Chang received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University and her J.D. from Northwestern University. Ms. Chang recently completed her term as a Police Commissioner for the City and County of Honolulu. This followed two three-year terms on the Hawaii Supreme Court Disciplinary Board for attorney discipline. Ms. Chang is a 1998 Member of the Pacific Century Fellows ("PCF''), a select group of Hawaii's young leaders which is patterned after the White House Fellows. Ms. Chang is also a mentor in the Junior Pacific Century Fellows Program, founded as an adjunct to PCF, which is designed to provide guidance, mentoring and assistance to high school freshmen. Ms. Chang has been named by Chambers USA as one of the leading litigators in Hawaii. Ms. Chang also serves as President of Distinguished Young Women of Hawaii, a scholarship program for high school senior girls.

Dr. Kent Reinker

  • Retired Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Kent Reinker is a retired orthopedic surgeon who served in the US Army through three major wars, Vietnam, Panama, and Desert Storm, before retiring as a Colonel. He then served for 12 years as the Chief Surgeon and Chief of Medical Staff at Shriners Hospital for Children in Honolulu, followed by 10 years as Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Dr. Reinker is a graduate of Yale University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics. He earned his MD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his Orthopedic Surgeon training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. As a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, he has taught or worked in over 40 countries and six continents, including service as a visiting professor in the Philippines, Okinawa and Tanzania. Dr. Reinker's awards include designation as an Honorary Ambassador to Guam and commendation from the legislature of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. He has served as President or Chairman of the Board of three orthopedic societies. Dr. Reinker is also a published novelist, and author or co-author of 48 scientific papers and five textbook chapters dealing with orthopedics or genetics. He is married with three children and four grandchildren.

HEIDI PLISZKA

Heidi brings career-earned management skills in a range of industries, including media, technology, marketing, training, operations and strategic development, to the Arcadia Family of Companies and its residents, clients and members. Having worked with many of our communities businesses, both small and large, she excels at strategic thinking, problem solving and finding solutions for any challenge. Prior to joining The Arcadia Family of Companies, Heidi served for three years as vice president account services at Anthology Marketing Group managing the day to day needs of their largest client, Hawaiian Airlines. Prior to that, Heidi served for five years as director of business operations at investigative and public affairs news website, Honolulu Civil Beat. Heidi is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and has completed extensive online coursework with Cornell University in project management and business strategy.

JOYCE NISHIKAWA

Joyce was a legal secretary for 24 years before starting with Arcadia in 2005. Joyce is a Notary Public since 1989. Her primary responsibilities are to assist and support the President & CEO, CFO, Board, and the senior leadership team. In her free time, Joyce enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Hina and gardening.

Kathy Aoki

Kathy Aoki is a retired Executive Officer for the Hawaii State Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs where she spent her career drafting legislative bills relating to nurse education, licensure, and scope of practice. In the 1980s, she was a PR Specialist on Senator Dan Inouye's personal staff in Washington, D.C. Ms. Aoki's other roles included Chief of the Office of Health Care Assurance for a short time; fiscal officer for non-profit organization; copy editor for the Research Corp of the UH Mānoa, and policy analyst for the UH Mānoa School of Nursing and the Hawaii State Center for Nursing. Duties included grant writing, implementation of state laws based on federal laws and regulations related to the health care industry, Medicaid/Medicare and health care administration; and drafting language to align Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurses with national standards. Ms. Aoki has earned a Bachelor in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in English, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts all from the University of Hawaii, Mānoa.

Koren Dreher

Koren Dreher is a retired Senior Vice President and Manager of the Private Banking Center at First Hawaiian Bank. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President and Unit Manager of the Commercial Real Estate Division at First Hawaiian Bank and as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Real Estate Industries Group, Pacific Northwest, at Bank of the West. Mrs. Dreher began her career at First Hawaiian Bank in 1974 as a management trainee. Mrs. Dreher currently serves as Chair of Aloha United Way's Community Care Roundtable. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hawaii Theatre Center and the Board of Directors of Sacred Hearts Academy. Previously, she has served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the State of Hawaii Employees Retirement System and on the Board of Trustees of the Hawaii Opera Theatre. Mrs. Dreher graduated from St. Andrew's Priory School and received her Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics and Statistics from the University of Hawaii. She is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Laura Reichhardt

Laura Reichhardt is the Director of the Hawaii State Center for Nursing where she maintains the daily operations and forges statewide initiatives and partnerships with nursing schools, employers, associations, interdisciplinary partners, government entities and the legislature. Ms. Reichhardt graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and U.S.-Mexico Border Health from University or Arizona and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. Ms. Reichhardt is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and is Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner-Certified. Ms. Reichhardt's specialties and interests include nursing and health care policy, workforce planning, nursing workforce systems improvement, primary care, gerontology and women's health and wellness. Ms. Reichhardt serves as a board member for Hawaii State Rural Health Association, Hawaii Pacific University School of Nursing, the Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, the Hawaii/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center and serves as a Co-Lead for the Hawaii Action Coalition. She remains active in the community and partakes in various civic engagements including ACLU, the Elks Lodge and League of Women Voters, Hawaii Chapter.

LISA HANEDA - CMO

Lisa was born and raised in Honolulu. The oldest of two girls, Lisa graduated from Roosevelt High School and the University of Redlands in California. Lisa joined the Sales team at 15 Craigside 2011 and then became the Director of Marketing for the Arcadia Family of Companies in 2014. She believes in the family of companies' mission and values, and she enjoys being able to share them with others. At home, she is loved and supported by husband Galen, two sons Sam and Seth, and their dog Lulu.

LORRI KOBATA

Lorri was born in Germany and raised on Oahu. Lorri has a Business degree from the University of Hawaii and over 20 years of experience in Human Resources management within the banking and hotel industries. Lucas Sayin

Prior to joining Spire, Lucas worked for CohnReznick, LLP is Los Angeles, California, as well as at American Golf Corporation and Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt, in Santa Monica, California. Lucas has over 12 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to private companies and government agencies in Hawaii and California in the not-for-profit, government, real estate, hospitality and renewable energy industries. Lucas serves as a board member of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and the School of Accountancy Advisory Board.

Martin Zorn

Martin Zorn currently serves as Managing Director for SAS Institute and its wholly owned subsidiary Kamakura Corporation. He was Kamakura's President and Chief Operating Officer and completed the sale of the company to SAS in June 2022. SAS is the leader in analytics. In addition to leading the integration of the firms locally, he is responsible for leading the initiative to build a data risk and analytics business within SAS. He joined Kamakura in January 2011 as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Zorn is a 21-year veteran of Wachovia Bank. Mr. Zorn's early years with Wachovia were in the systems and marketing departments before transitioning to corporate banking and capital markets. He later became the regional executive for Northern Virginia and Washington DC markets. Mr. Zorn has been involved in financial advisory engagements including structuring and arranging growth capital, financing mergers and acquisitions and hedging interest rate risk. He created an emerging growth and technology practice while he was in the Research Triangle. His clients have ranged from global leaders such as Exxon, Shell, American Airlines and USAA to early stage technology start-ups. Most recently he was with two community banks. He served as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Southern Indiana where he was an instructor in investments and business finance. Mr. Zorn is a 1977 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He pursued studies at the masters level in finance at the University of Texas at Dallas and received his executive management certification in 1998 from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

MICHAEL CHONG - CIO

He is responsible for the oversight of all IT related systems that include hardware, software, telecommunications, networking, and security. Prior to joining the family of companies, Michael worked for 8 years in healthcare as a Systems Administrator and Engineer for MedQuist, Inc. In his free time, Michael enjoys training for marathons, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife, Michelle and two children, Noa and Mia.

MIMI ANDRIAN

Mimi joined Arcadia in January 1997 and has been the Compliance Officer since January 1999. Mimi oversees the implementation of the Arcadia Family of Companies' Corporate Compliance and Privacy, as well as the Compensation and Benefits Programs. She provides advisory, interpretive, analytical, and operational Human Resources services to assist the Family of Companies. Mimi maintains a Certificate in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Mimi received her Certificate in Health Care Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii West Oahu. Prior to Arcadia, Mimi's experience includes banking, retail and trucking. Mimi is originally from Indiana, and moved to Hawaii in the early 1980's. She is married to Ray, and they enjoy family time and being active in the community.

REV. DR. DAVID K. POPHAM

The Reverend Dr. David K. Popham was ordained by the American Baptist Church in 1992 and was granted Privilege of Call in the United Church of Christ (UCC) in 1995. After pastoring two local churches for 11 years, Rev. Popham then served as Associate Conference Minister with the Rocky Mountain and Central Atlantic Conferences for the past 14 years. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary. Rev. Popham's seasoned experience at the conference level has exposed him to a wide variety of challenges facing the UCC. He has a firm grasp of the changing milieu impacting the church. Rev. Popham has extensive experience in strategic planning, working with culturally and theologically diverse churches and dealing with different kinds of conflicts, bringing a compassionate, healing approach to conflict resolution. Rev. Popham is married to Kerrie Shahan and they have two adult daughters.

Stacey's work with a local non-profit on Maui was eye-opening in terms of the need for senior care and services in the community and fueled her drive to be a part of an organization that strives to provide quality care. In her spare time Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, son Connor and English Bulldog Hank.

Suzie Schulberg has been with the Arcadia Family of Companies since 2001. Born and raised in Hawaii, Ms. Schulberg received her Nursing Home Administrator's License and an Advanced Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa in 2003; her Assisted Living Administrator certification in 2006; a Bachelor's Degree from Santa Clara University in History; and an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University. She's a member of the Policy Advisory Board for Elder Affairs; The Oahu Workforce Development Board; Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society; and the Omidyar Fellows Cohort VIII. In her free time, she enjoys family time and going on hikes.

VIVIAN LAI - CFO

Vivian Lai joined Arcadia in October 2009 and served as the Controller from July 2010 through 2018. Ms. Lai oversees the accounting and reporting of all financial transactions of Arcadia Community Services and all subsidiary companies. Ms. Lai is a Certified Public Accountant with 12 years of experience in public accounting. She was an audit manager at Grant Thornton LLP prior to joining Arcadia. Her experience in accounting and auditing includes assignments covering various industries with focus on not-for-profit organizations. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. Vivian was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is married to Ken and they have two sons, Owen and Julian.
