The Handicraft Association of Bhutan (HAB) was established in 2005 with the mission to empower artisans and actors in the handicrafts sector. In 2011, it became a registered Civil Society Organization (CSO). To support the growth of the sector, HAB provides a comprehensive range of support services, including resources, training, research and product development, trade facilitation, and policy interventions. The goal is to help artisans create high-quality handmade crafts and increase their competitiveness in the global market, resulting in sustainable livelihood opportunities for both the artisans and their communities...
