Alan Rosner spent five and half years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit, three years as a Felony Division Chief, and was Director of all prosecutions for Florida 4th Judicial Circuit in Clay County.
Alan Rosner began practicing criminal law in 1987 in areas of DUI defense, felony drug cases, gun crimes and juvenile delinquency matters. In his criminal defense practice, which spans over twenty-five years, he has successfully litigated appeals and post-conviction relief matters. He has served as an expert commentator on television and radio shows and has in excess of 100 jury trials. His trials have been televised on Court TV and have received media and public attention over the years. Alan Rosner is an AV-rated lawyer, receiving the highest rating by Martindale Hubbell, and has been requested to co-counsel many criminal law attorneys in need of his extensive experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system. His expertise was utilized by the defense in a first-degree murder trial which involved complex theories of the use of firearms and the proper techniques involved in self-defense by the use of a firearm.

Charles McBurney is a Florida native, having attended public schools in Florida. He is a high honors graduate of the University of Florida where he was selected to Phi Beta Kappa, was a member of the leadership honorary Florida Blue Key and was president of the Debate team. McBurney also graduated from the University of Florida Law School where he was a member of the moot court team and was selected to the Order of the Barristers. After 6 years with the State Attorney's Office where he handled misdemeanors all the way up to murder, he moved into private practice in 1990.
He has served as an officer, chair, or director of numerous professional organizations such as the Commercial Law League of America, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association. He is a member of the Business Section of the Florida Bar. For over 20 years, McBurney has achieved the highest rating among his peers for ethics and competency ("AV") and is listed in the Bar Register of Prominent Lawyers. McBurney has been a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education regarding bankruptcy and commercial law.
Among other bar activities, McBurney was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court to be on the Florida Innocence Commission and the Access to Civil Justice Commission. McBurney has also been appointed to serve on the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission and the Federal Judicial Advisory Commission.
McBurney has served as an officer or director of over 20 organizations in Jacksonville. He has been recognized many times by civic organizations, including the Small Businessman of the Year by the Southside Business Men's Club, the Leadership Award by the First Coast Tiger Bay Club, and the Most Outstanding Chapter President Award by the Florida Jaycees.
McBurney was also a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2007-2016 where, among other committees, he was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, which is the House Committee overseeing changes to civil and criminal law. Among the legislation he sponsored that became law was a substantial revision to the laws regarding limited liability companies.

Chase Harris was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. Chase attended the University of Florida where he graduated with a degree in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish. He completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in August 2014.
Chase Harris spent 4 years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit. At the State Attorney's Office, Chase prosecuted a variety of criminal charges ranging from misdemeanor offenses to serious violent felony charges, including homicide and attempted homicide.

Jerry Pryor attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with a degree in Journalism. He then moved to Boston, MA, and attended law school at the New England School of Law. In 2010, he was awarded a scholarship by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law's program in Space & Telecommunications as a member of the program's third class. Mr. Pryor completed his Master's Thesis on aspects of the international regulation of the Internet.
Upon earning his LL.M. from the University of Nebraska, Jerry accepted a position with the Federal Communications Commission and worked on regulatory issues involving wireless service providers. He also served as a law clerk to a former FCC commissioner.
Jerry was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2008 and the Florida Bar in September 2013. He has experience practicing in a number of different areas of the law but now focuses his practice on representing clients before the Social Security Administration and in the area of Workers' Compensation.
He serves on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and is a member of Leadership Nassau's class of 2016. When not working, he enjoys watching college football, gardening, and fishing.

Peter Shutters has been practicing law since 1997 and has fourteen years as an insurance defense attorney before joining Harris, Guidi & Rosner. He has jury trial experience in a variety of Florida Counties, including, Duval, Clay, Marion, Orange, Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa. Peter Shutters has represented clients insured with Allstate, State Farm, USAA, and Progressive. This experience, combined with his years as an investigator before law school, provides insight to Harris, Guidi & Rosner to assist and advance the firm's clients in personal injury claims.
Mr. Shutters handled civil litigation cases while in private practice in his hometown of Ocala, Florida, from 1999 through 2003. These included contract disputes, child abuse, and neglect cases, as well as, personal injury litigation. He has handled a number of appeals, including several oral arguments at the Fifth DCA in Volusia County.
Peter Shutters has been involved and has handled personal injury cases his entire legal career and continues to only practice in this area of the law.

Stephen Armstrong has been a specialist in workers' compensation and employment-related cases since 1991, and he currently serves as a partner in the firm.
