Mr Chiu Chi Wen - Chairman

Chiu Chi became Chair of Hawaiian in 2000 and holds several international Board positions. Starting his career with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, Chiu Chi has been a director of a Malaysian property group since 1979. Chiu Chi initiated the company philosophy of "the unity of business and people". Under Chiu Chi's stewardship the company strives to reflect human values of which we can all be proud. As much as Hawaiian is a business, it is a collective of people that take a long term perspective around the growth of the communities in which we operate. Hawaiian's position in the property sector is been directly accredited to the atypical approach. Outside of Hawaiian, Chiu Chi has helped guide many educational organisations in Perth, Kuala Lumpur, Nepal, Thailand and Singapore.

Mr Damian Gordon

Damian has been with Hawaiian since 2002 and is responsible for Hawaiian's portfolio of land developments. He is a member of the Wen Family Advisory Council which oversees the Wen Family's Australian and Malaysian real estate operations. Damian held the position of Hawaiian's Chief Financial Officer from 2002 to 2017 and has been a member of the Hawaiian board since 2008. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Senior Fellow of Finsia, a Fellow of the AICD and in 2013, he completed INSEAD's inaugural LEAP (Leadership Excellence through Awareness and Practice) Program. Damian is a member of Council and the Finance Committee of Curtin University, a former Director of Youth Focus and a former Director and Chair of the Finance Committee of Amana Living.

Mr Dusan Mills

Dusan joined the Hawaiian board in 2000, bringing with him a valued and diverse set of expertise and experience. He has a 40 year international background in public and private property development, investment practices, economic development, corporate strategy and organisational behaviour. His work in many countries has spanned the creation and operation of most commercial, recreational and residential property types and includes creation of national parks and new cities. These were accomplished either as Principal or Lead Advisor to prominent multinational investment entities and Governments. Dusan's notable appointments include Global Head of Development/ CEO Europe and Asia supervising US 100 Billion in development commitments for an investment arm of the Dubai Government.

Mr Luke Burns - CFO

Luke joined Hawaiian in May 2022 taking up the role of Hawaiian's Chief Financial Officer. Luke is responsible for all financial functions at Hawaiian, with a particular focus on capital investment to best realise positive community and long-term financial outcomes of the group. Luke has over 20 years' experience in the energy, infrastructure and agricultural industries. He was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Harvest Road, a subsidiary of the Tattarang group. Prior to this, Luke was Director of Finance for ATCO Gas Australia. Luke is a Fellow of CPA Australia and holds an MBA from Deakin University.

Mr Richard Kilbane - COO

Richard moved into the leadership role of Chief Operating Officer in 2021 after 16 years in the company, previously as the General Manager Office Buildings for Hawaiian. He has the day to day responsibility for the WA operation, including managing a portfolio of retail, office and hospitality assets with a value exceeding $1 billion. After playing an integral and forefront role in Hawaiian's award-winning development portfolio, transforming it into one that embraces innovation and change including Claremont Quarter, 235 St Georges Terrace and more recently the $50 million refurbishment of the iconic Parmelia Hilton Hotel and development of Hawaiian's head office at 177 St Georges Terrace amongst other achievements, Richard has established himself as a leader in the industry. Richard is the Vice-President of the WA Division of the Property Council of Australia and a graduate of the Harvard Business School of General Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and sits on the Board of St. Bart's.

Mr Russell Gibbs - CEO

Russell has been with Hawaiian since 1996 and at the helm since 2000. He is a member of the Wen Family Advisory Council which oversees the Wen Family's Australian and Malaysian real estate operations. Russell's leadership style draws on his approachable nature and big picture vision, which has seen the company grow an extensive property portfolio, including shopping centres, offices, land and hospitality, and employ a team of over 110 people. Russell is also Ex-Chairman of the West Coast Eagles and a non-executive director on the boards of the Satterley Property Group and the St Ives Group.

Mr Scott Greenwood

Scott joined Hawaiian in 2018 and was appointed General Manager Shopping Centres in 2019. With a keen eye for retail property and business development, Scott oversees Hawaiian's shopping centre assets. He leads a team dedicated to delivering the business plan objectives in retail leasing to deliver outstanding shopping experiences for our customers. Scott spent nine years with Westfield / Scentre Group and led Westfield Whitford City through an $80 million redevelopment which opened in 2017. He has vast experience in developing strategic business plans for retail assets and has been recognised by the Property Council of Australia with multiple Excellence Awards in retail property management and marketing.

Mr Stuart Kentish

Stuart joined Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa as Resort Manager in 2013. He was promoted to General Manager in 2017. Stuart saw the position as a great opportunity to be part of a company that takes pride in recognising its guests and staff as mutually important contributors to its success. His professional background includes senior roles at Hamilton Island, Ayres Rock Resort, Bedarra Island, Silky Oaks Lodge and also with Macquarie Bank. This career diversity has given Stuart a "think outside the box" approach to hospitality management. He is flexible to adapt in creative ways to an ever-evolving hospitality environment. Stuart has a Diploma in Business - Hospitality and an Associate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Mr Stuart Seaton

Stuart joined Hawaiian in August 2022, assuming the newly created role of General Manager - Capital Projects. Stuart is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of Hawaiian's CAPEX projects and oversees Hawaiian's Project and Portfolio Operations teams. Working across Hawaiian's portfolio of Shopping Centres, Hospitality and Office Buildings, Stuart executes pipeline projects focussed on capturing value to realise long-term financial and positive asset outcomes, as well as identifying new development opportunities. Stuart has more than 20 years of property development experience in the United Kingdom and WA. He was most recently with AMP Capital, as senior Development Manager delivering the $880 million redevelopment of Karrinyup Shopping Centre. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science from Napier University, Edinburgh, and is a member of the Property Council of Australia.

Ms Heidi Rodrigo

Heidi joined Hawaiian in 2015 bringing with her extensive experience in HR strategy, planning and recruitment. Heidi began her career in 2006 and has spent many years working within government around Australia, including the Department of Planning and Infrastructure, Department of Transport and Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. Heidi is an HR Generalist and has a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Management and PR from Curtin University.

Ms Sandra Holloway

Sandra joined Hawaiian in 2020 and was appointed General Manager - Marketing in 2021. Sandra brings a unique and broad skill set to Hawaiian with experience within start-up and established businesses in traditional media, social media and not-for-profit. She has extensive experience developing and delivering strategic initiatives, having cultivated and delivered campaigns and activations at some of Australia's largest events. In 2014, Sandra orchestrated the first international partnership with New York-based digital agency Breakfast, bringing its social media activation company Luster (formally known as Instaprint) to Australia. Sandra began her marketing career at Nova 93.7 and spent 12 years with the radio station. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies) and is currently extending her tertiary education, undertaking a Bachelor of Laws.
