Bridget M. Erwin

Bridget M. Erwin assists her clients with a wide variety of estate planning matters, including wills and trusts, probate and trust administration, guardianships, protective placements, conservatorships, special needs planning, elder law, marital property agreements and business succession planning. Bridget is certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC). Bridget received a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a minor in economics from St. Norbert College in 2004 and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2007. While at William Mitchell, Bridget was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Estate Planning. Bridget is a native of central Minnesota, and practiced in the Green Bay and Appleton areas before joining Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. She is admitted to practice before the courts in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Bridget currently serves on the Board of Directors for Aspiro, Inc., Neville Public Museum Foundation, Wispact, Inc., the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin and the St. Thomas More Society of Green Bay. She is also a member of the Site Advisory Council of Father Allouez Catholic School and a graduate of the Leadership Fox Cities program. She is a frequent speaker for National Business Institute on topics relating to estate planning and probate and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Bridget was named to the Wisconsin Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers magazine for the years 2014-2022, an honor awarded to no more that 2.5 percent of the attorneys in Wisconsin each year. Emily E. Ames

Emily is an associate attorney with Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. She practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and elder law and special needs planning. She also advises clients on the formation and sale of businesses, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, buy/sell agreements, and commercial and residential real estate matters. Emily obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as a managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, a class representative for the Student Bar Association, and an intern for the Honorable Shirley S. Abrahamson, Wisconsin Supreme Court. Emily is a native of northern lower Michigan and practiced in the Green Bay area before joining Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. Emily serves on the Board of Directors of Golden House and Junior Achievement of Northeast Wisconsin and is a member of the Current Young Professionals Leadership Team. John F. Hager

John F. Hager, one of the founding shareholders of the firm, was a native of De Pere, and had 37 years' experience advising individuals and business owners in a wide range of estate and business planning matters, including personal and family estate planning, the purchase and sale of businesses, formation of new businesses, business succession planning and banking and commercial transactions. John maintained a significant estate planning and probate, estate and trust settlement and administration practice, including the preparation of wills and trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, marital property agreements and other estate planning techniques and documents. John was awarded an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating service, the highest rating available, reflecting an attorney who has achieved the height of professional excellence and is recognized for the highest level of skill and integrity. John, was also a licensed Certified Public Accountant, who received his degree in Accounting from Marquette University in 1979 and his Law Degree from Marquette University Law School in 1982, where he was a Thomas More scholar. John was admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in Wisconsin and the United States Tax Court. His professional affiliations included the State Bar of Wisconsin, Brown County Bar Association, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants,Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin and Green Bay Estate Planning Forum. John was a frequent speaker and lecturer on business and estate planning matters, most recently he presented The Probate Process: From Start to Finish, through the National Business Institute. John took great pride in his civic and community involvement. His past community involvement included serving on the Boards of Directors of St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center, the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, Inc., the St. Norbert College Gift Planning Advisory Committee, the Mutual Housing Authority of Green Bay, Inc. and the Greater Green Bay Chamber Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative; chaired the Friends of St. Vincent Hospital Foundation Board; served on the Notre Dame of De Pere Board of Education, the St. Vincent/St. Mary/Prevea Hospital Advisory Committee Chair; St. Vincent Hospital Advisory Council; and the St. Vincent Hospital Young Philanthropist Award Committee; St. Norbert College Medical College of Wisconsin RAAC; St. Norbert College Donald Schneider School of Business Board of Advisors; participated in the Greater Green Bay Chamber Leadership Green Bay Program, Advance Marketing Committee and CEO Roundtable and involvement with the Junior Achievement Project Business Program and United Way; and coached a wide variety of sports at the grade school and high school levels. John was a member of the De Pere ASA Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame. John was named one of the "50 People You Should Know" by the Bay Business Journal and selected as one of the 2009 Leaders in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal. John was also a finalist for the 2009 Best of the Bay award for Best Attorney/Law Firm, as selected by the Green Bay Press Gazette readers and was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers of America 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. John was a recipient of the 2013 Green Bay Packers Community Quarterback Award in recognition of the community service he provides. John was also a recipient of the 2020 Leo Frigo Award presented by The Green Bay Chamber of Commerce, its highest recognition, to participants of Leadership Green Bay who have made, and continue to make, a significant difference in their community through volunteerism and community leadership.

Katrina E. Cox

Katrina E. Cox assists the firm's clients in a variety of business and real estate matters, including residential and commercial real estate transactions, development and leasing contracts, formation of business entities, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, buy/sell and operating agreements and general business matters. Katrina received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College in 2015, summa cum laude, and her law degree from University of Wisconsin Law School in 2018. A native of De Pere, Wisconsin, Katrina returned to the Green Bay area upon graduation to join Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. Katrina is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Wisconsin. Katrina is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Brown County Bar Association, Brown County Bar Association - Young Lawyers Association and Current Young Professionals of Green Bay. Nicholas J. Linz

Nicholas J. Linz assists his clients in a wide range of business and civil litigation needs, including employment matters, construction and lien law, contracts, collections, residential and commercial real estate matters, easements, foreclosures, residential and commercial lease drafting and disputes, and commercial tax disputes. Nick also has significant experience in the fields of landlord/tenant law and municipal law. Nick received a Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2004 and his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2007. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Nick practiced in Milwaukee before returning to Green Bay to be closer to his family. Nick practiced in the Green Bay area before joining Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C. He is admitted to practice before the courts in the State of Wisconsin and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Nick is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Brown County Bar Association and the Honorable Robert J. Parins Inns of Court. Nick is the former president of the Ashwaubenon Business Association and the Allouez Optimist Club. Nick is a member of the Greater Green Bay Chamber Leadership Green Bay class of 2016. Nick also sits on the Board of Directors for the Allouez Optimist Club, it's Foundation and The Farmory.
