Allison Lunde

Allison Lunde is the Midwest Regional Manager - Hydropower & Dams USA for Hatch's Power Business Unit. She is a senior structural engineer with over thirteen years of civil and structural engineering experience in heavy industrial, wind energy, and hydroelectric facilities. She has been with Hatch for more than three years and oversees a multidisciplinary team of civil, structural, geotechnical, and water resource engineers. Allison works out of our Minneapolis office. Allison was raised in Minnesota and attended Iowa State University where she earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) and a Master of Business Administration degree. Along with her fully supportive husband, Allison is raising two young children and a dog. Keeping up with two young, energy packed kids has kept her on her toes and busy when not helping her clients achieve their goals. She enjoys watching her children grow and try new activities to find their passions, skills, and talents. In the spare time, she enjoys golfing with her husband (and hopefully with the kids in the near future), enjoying time in their backyard pool, traveling, and watching collegiate and professional sporting events. Allison has been recognized by her peers for her commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, honoring her with a 2023 Positive Change Award.

Ashley Greaves

Having co-chaired the USA Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee since November 2020, Ashley shows tremendous enthusiasm, knowledge, and leadership as she energetically leads the Committee and seeks to develop diverse and inclusive events and resources. An Inspirational Woman and recipient of Hatch's inaugural Positive Change Awards, she creates a safe space for others to thrive both personally and professionally-even in the busiest of days. When connecting with others, Ashley brings integrity, experience, and a genuine interest in driving positive change. She exemplifies not only the leadership necessary to succeed, but draws attention to diversity and inclusion, which stems from her personal and professional values. For Ashley, positive change is found in the everyday things-small acts of kindness and bravery that equate to a larger purpose. Ashley practices this belief by integrating positivity into her every action and interaction, valuing the diversity and personal experiences surrounding her. With much resiliency, a trait she's most proud of, Ashley uses her personal experiences to further support others, declaring she does this "for the one person every now and then who says, ‘thank you for seeing me'… that's what makes me so happy."

Bennie Vorster

Caitlin Roos

Caitlin (P.Eng, MASc) has over 10 years of engineering experience in the mining and construction industries. Caitlin began her career working in construction management at a family-owned construction contractor in Northern Ontario. After completing her undergraduate and master's degrees in engineering, she joined Hatch as part of the Project Delivery Group in Piping Engineering. Caitlin's recent experience includes engineering work on slurry piping, long distance pipelines, hydrometallurgy plant design, solution mining, underground mining, and oil and gas applications.

Carmen Giesbrecht

Carmen is a valued member of Hatch's Structural Engineering group. Carmen specializes in industrial structural engineering and has spent most of her time with Hatch working in the mining industry supporting the design, construction, and maintenance of Potash facilities in Saskatchewan. Over the past several years she has served as a structural design engineer and field engineer for phase 1 of a boiler modification project aimed at reducing emissions at a potash mine. In 2023, Carmen took on the role of structural lead for phase 2 of the same boiler modification project. Furthermore, she has played a crucial role as the lead inspector for structural integrity projects at several mines across Saskatchewan. Carmen's expertise and dedication have made a significant impact in advancing the field of industrial structural engineering. Carmen was one of the recipients of the 2023 Positive Change Awards, a program to recognize employees who contribute to building Hatch's inclusive organization, who exemplify the values of our Manifesto, and who actively work towards strengthening our diverse teams. "Carmen is an active member of the Western Canada Diversity and Inclusion committee and the Indigenous Engagement Committee in Saskatoon. She is committed to driving diversity and inclusion in Hatch. Carmen is brave in speaking up about her experiences and what can be done to make the workplace a more psychologically safe space for everyone," shared Rohan, one of Carmen's nominators for the award.

Chelsie Klassen

Growing up in small town Canada, Chelsie connects her humble roots to all aspects of her work by listening intently and integrating stakeholder feedback into major project design. Her empathetic and proactive approach ensures that local cultural traditions are respected and social risks on projects are managed. Chelsie has over 15 years of experience in social performance and stakeholder engagement that spans across the energy, metals, and infrastructure sectors. She spends her time alongside her global teammates as they jointly support clients in bolstering their social performance on projects across North America, South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management, and a Master of Laws. Her accomplishments are notable, having been nominated and shortlisted for the prestigious title of Sustainability Leader of the Year at the 2023 Sustainability Consulting Awards. She also earned recognition from Oilweek magazine as an up-and-coming star in the oil and natural gas sector, thanks to her exceptional communication skills and leadership. Additionally, she was honored as a United Nations (UN) Innovator by the UN Global Compact. Chelsie prides herself on the personal connections she makes along her journey and enjoys collecting local art as reminders of places she has visited-including an Inuvialuit jacket from her work in the Northwest Territories, Canada, that she hangs in her office, and a painting depicting traditional gathering of bush medicines by the Numina sisters from the Northern Territory, Australia.

Christine Sigmen

Christine is a mechanical engineer, currently serving as the engineering manager and mechanical lead on an off-gas management project. Christine is also leading the development and management of a new office in Trois-Rivières, Canada. The office supports Hatch's client in the region with building and optimizing plants pertaining to battery materials. The Bécancour region has been targeted to welcome numerous initiatives to respond to the energy transition. Christine was a recipient of a 2023 Positive Change Awards, a program to recognize employees who contribute to building Hatch's inclusive organization, who exemplify the values of our Manifesto, and who actively work towards strengthening our diverse teams.

Claudia Quinzio

Claudia always incorporates inclusive behaviors into her presentations at meetings by boosting the presence of women and calling on leaders to support the retention of women in the office. She has promoted the nomination of women more expeditiously in the hiring process, and in her global HR meetings, she always raises issues to facilitate and expedite the hiring of women and looks for benefits for them in the office. It shows in the number of activities that she's developed in-office to support co-responsible work in the family and to eliminate unconscious biases. She has brought experts on the subject to speak through video conferences and has also promoted in-office activities to celebrate women-centered days of recognition. One of her nominators shares: "Claudia has strong ethics and competency in her field. She's an excellent example for many of our female [colleagues] to follow." By forming an understanding of why women have previously resigned from Hatch, she's making improvements in the office to have more leaders and fewer bosses, and to create activities to empower women so that they feel welcome and valued within the company.
