Chris Hornick - CEO, Founder, President

Mr. Hornick is a Founder of HBSC and is responsible for setting the firm's overall strategic direction. He has a wide variety of experience working with C-Suite Executives to plan and execute mission-critical business strategies, operational improvements, and organizational change initiatives. Over the past 18 years, he has also served clients as interim-CFO, interim-COO/CIO, and Engagement Director and has helped numerous Fortune 1000 companies translate business strategy into technology value and results. He has extensive experience in Digital Strategy, including cloud-based ERP, CRM, HCM, and BPMS technologies, and has led numerous Enterprise-level Program Management Offices and Change Management initiatives. He has over 20 years of Management Consulting experience working in High-tech, Financial Services, and Healthcare and has helped numerous Sales, Finance, and IT organizations transform their operations. Mr. Hornick has also helped organizations develop innovative product architectures, improve business processes, secure venture funding, and create highly scalable enterprises. His most recent focus has been working with top-level managers to create high-performance businesses that leverage predictive analytics, mobile technologies, and business process management technologies. Before joining HBSC, Mr. Hornick was an executive at Scient Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Senior Financial Analyst at Salomon Brothers, and began his career as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Hornick sits on several Advisory Boards of Pre-IPO start-up companies, is a President of the Next Concept HR (formerly NCHRA), is an active Angel Investor, and is a certified PMP Instructor. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with dual degrees in Computer Science and Economics, holds a Masters's Degree in Computer Science and an MBA from Columbia University. For fun, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, skiing, sailing, flying and competing in Triathlons.

Michael Skeate - CIO, Founder

Mr. Skeate specializes in IT Strategy and architecting enterprise software systems. He has over 16 years of professional experience working as a senior-level technology advisor, enterprise architect, and software product manager. His project experiences across various industries, including Financial Services, Hi-Tech, E-Business, and Telecommunications, and government agencies such as NASA, DOD, and DOE. Mr. Skeate is an expert in methodologies for enterprise software implementation, including Rational Unified Process, UML modeling, and Catalysis (a component-based approach). He has expert knowledge of enterprise architecture, middleware, enterprise application integration (EAI), and web services. Mr. Skeate's other technical interests include Business Intelligence, Decision Science, Soft Computing, BPM and product development. He graduated from Harvey Mudd (Claremont Colleges) with an undergraduate and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MBA in Technology Management.

Nicholas Menaker

Mr. Menaker is a Senior Director consultant and manager with 20 years of experience leading technology evaluations and large scale system and process re-engineering projects. He has worked with small businesses (Pre-IPO) through international Fortune 100 companies. He has IT strategy experience from both a CTO buyer and business system implementer perspective and is intimately familiar with delivery best practices across ERP, HRIS and CRM SaaS solutions. His #1 strength is finding the intersection of technology solutions and business process design to fit an organization's requirements. He has consulting and senior management experience with Financial, Hedge Fund, Manufacturing, Transportation, High-tech, and Medical companies in the USA, Canada, and East/West Europe. Before joining HBSC, Nicholas was a VP of Technology at Corrigo, CTO at several start-up companies, and worked at Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, Germany. He graduated from the University of Virginia, holds an MBA from Thunderbird Business School, and is fluent in 5 languages.
