Dr. Ekkehard Wenning has been working in the field of intellectual property since 1993. He joined Henkel, Feiler & Hänzel in 2000 and became a partner in 2001.
He qualified as a European patent attorney in 1996, and in the same year as a German patent attorney. He has extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law.
In addition to his studies to become a patent attorney, Dr. Wenning also completed a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) with specialisation in European intellectual property law.
Dr. Wenning is a physicist. During his studies, he specialised in physical chemistry, electrodynamics and solid state physics. While working at the Institute for Physical Chemistry at the University of Karlsruhe,
Dr. Wenning earned a doctorate with a thesis on nuclear magnetic resonance.
Dr. Wenning is active in all areas of intellectual property, including prosecution, infringement and nullity proceedings. He is specialised in software and electronics patents as well as trademark law.
Dr. Wenning is fluent in Spanish.
