Dr. Alana Chaplin Arey

Alana joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2023. Alana grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2018. While at Portland State, she was a member of the Tennis, Cross Country, and Track and Field Team. Alana attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021. Alana has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2021 and has experience working with a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is passionate and knowledgeable in treating athletes to include runners, tennis players, soccer players, wrestlers, gymnasts, etc. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which further enhances her ability to treat those looking to get back to their sport.

Dr. Ashlee Roderick

Dr. Roderick joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in June of 2015. She and her husband, Stephen, became owners of the company in June of 2019. Ashlee grew up in Northern California. She graduated from Corban University Magna Cum Laude in 2011, where she majored in Health Science, Human Performance with an emphasis on Exercises Science, and minored in Biblical Studies. She played basketball on a scholarship for all four undergraduate years and was an Academic All-American and All-Conference player. Prior to her physical therapy training, Ashlee worked in various facilities, including the Corvallis Anytime Fitness and Fitness Over Fifty, as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Ashlee attended graduate school at Pacific University and graduated Doctor of Physical Therapy with distinction in May of 2015. She achieved her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2018, her Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2021, and is pursuing additional specialty certification in manual therapy through Mulligan. Additionally, she was a primary investigator in "The Effectiveness of Astym® in Treating Plantar Fasciopathy: a feasibility study." Ashlee enjoys treating athletes, specializing in pre-habilitation and return-to-sport. She is also very passionate about treating pelvic floor dysfunction and is one of the few local specialists. Ashlee feels privileged to serve this community and is grateful for the trust and confidence patients place in her and the Healing Motion staff as their preferred providers of physical therapy. Outside of work, Ashlee loves to make memories with her husband and their three little ladies, Ellie, Addisyn, and Kinsley, as well as their Golden Retriever, Ky. They spend their time together with friends and family, dabbling in real estate, running, playing basketball and disc golf, boating, and cheering on the Blazers, Red Sox, 49ers, and of course, the Beavs.

Dr. Cassie McDonald Ross

Dr. McDonald Ross joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2022. Previous to Healing Motion, she was a clinic director at an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Michigan where she fostered the growth of a women's health/pelvic health program. She decided to join Healing Motion after her husband's job called for a relocation to Corvallis. Cassie grew up in Michigan, graduating with her Bachelors in Mathematics from Olivet College in 2013, then attending Grand Valley State University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2017. Cassie has been a physical therapist since 2017, starting out initially as a generalist orthopedic physical therapist. Through her interests and personal experiences, she has found her passion and calling in the pelvic health specialty. She has a passion for treating patients through pregnancy, postpartum, with pelvic pain, among other pelvic floor conditions. Cassie's main goal as a physical therapist is to foster confidence in the patient's ability to manage their own condition and belief in the resilience of their body. Cassie now lives in Corvallis with her husband, Joshua, and their two young sons, Graeme and Finn. Josh is a coach at Oregon State University, so you will likely see their family around campus, rooting for the Beavers in any event! She is finding her way back to fitness following her own postpartum journeys and struggles, and is looking forward to getting back into yoga and weightlifting. Cassie also has a passion for service to the community and really looks forward to joining in and contributing to the reputation that Healing Motion has for involvement in the community.

Dr. Emily Houston

Dr. Houston joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in February of 2023. Originally from the Philomath area, Emily is delighted to return to the community after years away! In 2009, she graduated from Colorado College magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, then worked in education in the Bay Area. While there, she discovered her career passion and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from UC San Francisco/San Francisco State University. Emily began her physical therapy career working in orthopedics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. She completed a one-year residency program to further specialize in this field, and is board certified as a clinical specialist in Orthopedics. Emily then spent 4 years working as a Physical Therapist in California. She started a successful PT clinic in association with the Indian Health Clinic on the reservation near her town. Here she treated a wide range of ages and presentations, also starting an Aquatic program and advancing her treatment in Pelvic Health. Emily loves her work and is committed to helping each patient meet their goals through therapy, whatever the goal may be! She uses a patient-centered, holistic approach. She loves the variety of orthopedic presentations she works with, and is particularly passionate about offering care to individuals with pelvic presentations (e.g., during and following pregnancy, pelvic pain, incontinence, bowel dysfunction).

Dr. Erin Erven

Dr. Erven joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in January 2022. She brings almost ten years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. Erin was born and raised in Corvallis. She attended Oregon State University and graduated with her bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2010. She enjoyed her time playing soccer for the women's club team while at OSU. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Denver at the University of Colorado and graduated in 2013. She has been practicing in the Corvallis/Albany area since 2013. Erin is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. She loves working with all orthopedic conditions but is passionate about caring for her fellow mamas. She has additional training in prenatal and postpartum physical therapy. She also has training in manual therapy techniques to help all her patients move better and with less pain before progressing their individualized and progressive exercise program. When she's not at work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Shiloh, and two children, Alexandra and Brooks. Erin loves to stay active and can often be found out trail running or at boot camp!

Dr. Kersey Schuh

Dr. Schuh, a Corvallis native, joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in the Summer of 2017. Kersey graduated from Oregon State University Cum Laude in 2013, where she majored in General Science with a concentration on Pre-Physical Therapy. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for graduate school and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in May of 2017. Kersey achieved her Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2021, and is pursuing additional specialty certification in manual therapy through Mulligan. Her interests lie in throwing-related shoulder injuries, post-surgical knees and hips, and low back pain. Kersey is eager to build relationships with each of her patients and to help them live their best life. Outside of work, Kersey enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her adorable puppy, reading, baking, and decorating cakes. She is also an avid Braves fan.

Dr. Kevin Coriano

Dr. Coriano joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August 2022. Kevin is a transplant from Alaska to Oregon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Corban University, where he was student body president. He began pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at George Fox University in 2017. During his time at George Fox, he completed clinical rotations in acute inpatient rehabilitation at Silverton Hospital, geriatric home health with Providence Healthcare, and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation at Meridian Park Hospital. In 2020 he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy. Kevin is passionate about functional movement and strives to return all his patients to the activities they enjoy most. He provides compassionate care with an evidence-based approach to serve and challenge those who believe they are defined by their physical limitations, unlocking their potential for a healthier life. Kevin believes in a holistic approach to wellbeing and that healthcare is at its best when multiple providers collaborate and work as a team to serve the patient. Currently Kevin is pursuing his manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy as well as his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Allie, and three sons, River, Micah, and Ezra. He is an avid hiker, biker, and runner.

Dr. Kjell Mann

Dr. Mann joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May 2023. Kjell, originally from Minnesota, is a recent Oregon resident as of August 2020. He attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth and graduated with his bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2016. During this time, he participated as a captain and vice president of the UMD club soccer team. Alongside his athletic endeavors, he volunteered as a mentor and coached local youth teams throughout his college years. He graduated from the University of Jamestown, North Dakota in 2019 and shortly thereafter made his move to Oregon. He has been a local therapist in Albany, OR since his move in 2020. Kjell is a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist (CSCS) and enjoys treating his fitness athletes, weekend warriors and in community CrossFitters. Alongside his specialized training with fitness athletes, Kjell has additional skills in manipulation/manual therapy, vestibular care, and progressive loading principles to help any individual return to the activities that they love pain-free. When Kjell is not at work, he is spending time as a certified CrossFit coach at a local gym, exploring the outdoors Oregon has to offer, or is competing in a soccer match on the weekends. He also enjoys working as a volunteer with local youth services to better the community as a whole. His unique passion for patient care and willingness to put in the extra work will get his patients reaching far beyond their expectations on the road to recovery!

Dr. Kylee Seto

Dr. Seto will be joining Healing Motion Physical Therapy in July of 2023! Kylee grew up in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lousiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a Minor in French Literature in 2017. While at Louisiana Tech, she played soccer on a scholarship throughout all four undergraduate years as a goalkeeper. Before pursuing her degree in physical therapy, she worked in various clinical settings as a registered kinesiologist, caregiver, and coach. Kylee completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2023 at Pacific University while working as a peer tutor and principal investigator researching fall risk and gait amongst individuals with lower limb loss. She has presented her findings at multiple international conferences. Kylee is excited to serve the community, create meaningful connections with patients of all ages, and help provide people with individualized care to get them back to doing what they love! She has experience treating a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Her special interests include preventative health programs, vestibular therapy, fall risk, and chronic pain. In her free time, Kylee enjoys playing pickleball, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with her family and friends. She is also an avid skier, climber, and cyclist.

Dr. Melissa McNulty

Dr. McNulty joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in December of 2019 after relocating from Alaska to Oregon's Willamette Valley.

Dr. Michelle Tyndall

Dr. Tyndall joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in January 2022. Michelle grew up in San Diego County and attended undergrad at Biola University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, pre-Physical Therapy, in 2016. After which, she moved to Oregon and fell in love with everything about the Pacific Northwest. Michelle then went to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas, where she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy with honors in December 2021. Michelle is also certified in LSVT BIG allowing her to offer specialized care to individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Growing up, Michelle loved playing all types of sports and growing with her teammates through the seasons. She has coached and trained athletes on and off the field and looks forward to passing along her passion to other athletes. Michelle enjoys yoga, hiking, running, reading, and hanging out with her family in her spare time.

Dr. Peter McMillan

Dr. McMillan joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April 2021, after almost 4 years practicing in a clinical outpatient setting. Hailing from Coburg, Oregon, Peter graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While at Oregon State University, he was an active member of OSU's club ultimate frisbee team and the triathlon team. He moved immediately after to Denver, Colorado, where he spent 3 years exploring the Rocky Mountain outdoors and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors at Regis University. Peter loves to be outdoors. He has completed a marathon, a half marathon, a 25k trail run, a half iron man, and multiple olympic triathlons. This has led him to especially enjoy treating runners, helping them resolve injuries and improve mechanics for safer and stronger movement. He is particularly knowledgeable about foot, ankle, knee, and hip injuries. He is goofy and loving; dad to Lucy and Holden, husband to Hilary, and friend to many. In this season of parenting young children, Peter doesn't have as many endurance races on his schedule, but he does enjoy getting outdoors and disc golfing, hiking, cycling, and running. When the outdoors is soggy, he enjoys a little competition playing board games with his wife and friends.
