Alan Stein

Alan brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare technology to HealthEdge, with a strong emphasis on marketing, strategy, commercialization, customer success, and corporate development. As Chief Product & Strategy Officer he works to advance our product suite, with an eye on alignment and interdependency across the business. Additionally, Alan leads our global Marketing and Customer Success functions and is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, customer growth, and adoption of the HealthEdge Digital Platform. Previously he served as an industry consultant, advising HealthEdge and other leading healthcare technology organizations operating across a complex ecosystem. Previously, he had an extensive career as a senior executive at TriZetto, leading its $2.7 billion sale to Cognizant, where he then served as a Senior Vice President overseeing the Healthcare Products Group. In that role, Alan managed a team of over 400 people who served 350+ healthcare payers and 300K+ providers, with responsibility for product management and growth, including go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, and customer success. Alan holds a bachelor's degree from St. John's University and an MBA in healthcare finance from CW Post University in Long Island.

Alex Saltzman

Alex Saltzman joined HealthEdge in 2020 and serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for leading HealthEdge's inorganic growth initiatives as well as for partnering with the HealthEdge senior leadership team on strategic projects. Alex has spent his career combining healthcare and finance, most recently serving in leadership business development roles at private equity-backed national physician practice management platforms that leverage technology to improve clinical outcomes such as OneOncology, Prelude Fertility and Privia Health. His operating background in health IT also includes working in the Enterprise Services group at athenahealth. Alex began his career in healthcare investment banking and capital markets at Lazard, followed by investment roles at CHL Medical Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. Alex earned a B.A. in Political Economy, cum laude, from Williams College, and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Anshul Pande

With over 20 years of experience defining strategy and driving transformation, Anshul Pande is a visionary technology leader with a passion for building scalable teams capable of leading digital innovation and driving exponential company growth. As SVP, Research and Development and now Executive Vice President & General Manager, HealthRules Payer, Anshul has an invaluable blend of expertise and deep knowledge of the digital and healthcare ecosystems. This knowledge has prepared him to drive large-scale transformations leveraging innovative solutions and digital technologies to position HealthEdge as an industry leader. Prior to HealthEdge, Anshul served as CTO & VP for Stanford Children's Health, where he mobilized a team of 100+ staff to develop and implement a world class digital health and cloud adoption strategy. Prior to Stanford Children's Health, Anshul directed a multi-year integration of health system IT which involved three mergers and acquisitions as the CTO & VP of ProMedica. Anshul is an expert in managing organizational change which improves efficiency and optimizes cost savings. At the start of his professional career, Anshul served a long tenure working for Epic across multiple progressively responsible roles. Most notably, he created the company's direction for a rapidly growing technology team with 1600+ staff. Anshul's professional background is complemented by his MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering and MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He additionally holds a BE in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology.

Chris Conte - EVP

Chris is an accomplished healthcare sales leader and is responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the company. Chris has over 25 years of Industry and Sales Management experience in progressive and varying leadership roles. Prior to HealthEdge, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Matrix Medical Network, where he was responsible for driving significant new business and company expansion leading to their acquisition by Providence Service Corporation. Before Matrix Medical Network, Chris was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Outcomes Health Information Solutions, where he built a "best in class" sales team that delivered a number of new customers and partners that helped to grow the business. Chris' past experience also includes leading sales teams at organizations including The TriZetto Group, Misys Healthcare Systems and Oracle Corporation. Chris holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Radford University and began his career in Federal Law Enforcement.

Craig Wilson - Chief Legal Officer, EVP

With more than 25 years of experience in the legal field, Craig has worked as a senior business executive, general counsel, corporate counsel, and prior to moving to an inhouse role, worked in private practice as a commercial litigator. Craig has deep experience in leading legal departments and using his industry knowledge to develop business strategies that have enabled companies to succeed in ever-changing and dynamic environments. Prior to joining HealthEdge, Craig served as General Counsel of Envision Healthcare Corporation, a national healthcare company and hospital-based medical group for ten years, where he filled a role as the key legal advisor on major business transactions, and prior to becoming General Counsel, was Corporate Counsel for Envision and its physician services operations. Craig also is past president and current board member of SungateKids, a child advocacy center in the Denver metro area which provides forensic interviewing and counseling services to children who have been victims of abuse and abuse prevention services to elementary school children in the Denver area. He earned a Juris Doctor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Political Science, at William Jewell College.

Dan Vnuk

Dan is a results-focused leader with more than 20 years of experience driving change across global organizations. As Executive Vice President & General Manager of the GuidingCare division of HealthEdge, he is responsible for engineering, technology operations, product delivery, and product management. He previously served at Cotiviti, where he was senior vice president of information technology, infrastructure, and security. In that role, he led a global team of 320 people and an IT integration for a $5 billion acquisition. Also at Cotiviti, he built a comprehensive healthcare data ingestion platform from the ground up. During his tenure, the company achieved HITRUST certification across all healthcare verticals. Before Cotiviti, Dan spent 17 years with Nielsen in increasingly responsible leadership roles with expanding scope. As senior vice president and chief architect of the connected system, he led the design of a Microsoft® Azure cloud-native data lake solution that brought together data ingestion, data science, business intelligence, a portal, APIs, and an application ecosystem into a single platform and design. Dan holds a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of New Mexico. His bachelor's degree is in physics, from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.

Heather Bender - CHRO

Heather Bender brings over 25 years experience to HealthEdge. She joins us from iRobot, where she served as Vice President of Talent. In that role, she was responsible for leading the efforts to elevate and renew the company's talent strategies and culture as iRobot transformed to a consumer technology company. Heather was responsible for the global HR Business Partner teams, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Learning and Development and Diversity & Inclusion programs. Prior to iRobot, Heather held HR Business Partner roles at Nokia, working the transition of the mobile phone business to Microsoft, and then moved to HERE Technologies, a privately-held location services software business spun out by Nokia. At HERE she led the global HR Business Partner organization, ran global HR operations, and assisted with building out a new set of learning, leadership and talent programs. Heather lives in Hollis, NH, with her husband, Andrew and three children. With two in college, they are moving towards being empty nesters and travel as much as possible.

Jacob Sattelmair

Jacob is a Boston-based entrepreneur and industry leader focused on data-driven, consumer-centric technology solutions. He is Co-Founder and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Wellframe, a digital health management company providing care management and advocacy solutions to health plans nationwide. Under his leadership, Wellframe has partnered with dozens of health plans to improve their relationships with members, close gaps in care, and improve health outcomes. Jacob was a World Economic Forum Young Global Shaper and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, technical papers and contributed articles. Previously, Jacob was Product Manager at RunKeeper, a leading mobile/web health and fitness platform and Director of Research and Strategy at Dossia, an employer driven health IT initiative. Jacob holds a doctorate in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health, where his research focused on lifestyle behaviors and cardiovascular health. Jacob completed a Masters in Physiology, with distinction, at the University of Oxford (Exeter College) and holds a BA in Neurobiology from Harvard University.

Matt Kuntz - CTO

Matt is Chief Technology Officer of HealthEdge, and possesses an in-depth knowledge of its software products. Before joining HealthEdge, Matt was Product Architect and Principal Technical Lead at deNovis. In this role, he was responsible for key aspects of the deNovis architecture, including web services, claims performance, event notification, financial transactions, and data versioning. He led development of the finance, enrollment, provider, care management, and claims subsystems. Prior to joining deNovis, Matt was Architect at WorldStreet Corporation where he designed and built a scalable, secure architecture for collaboration within the financial services industry. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Physics from Amherst College.

Matt McLaughlin - CFO

Matt McLaughlin joins HealthEdge with both financial and strategic expertise after a 20+ year career across many industries. Most recently, he was the CFO of Oxford Immunotec, a NASDAQ listed leading infectious disease diagnostic company, focused primarily on the latent tuberculosis industry. In his two years at Oxford he helped drive significant global growth while strategically repositioning the company, which led to it being acquired by PerkinElmer in early ‘21. Prior to Oxford, Mr. McLaughlin spent 18 years at GE across a range of industries, developing extensive experience in building and leading businesses through growth strategies, operational improvements, supply chain and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Oxford, Mr. McLaughlin served as CFO for the North American division of GE Healthcare. In this role, he was responsible for driving top line growth and margin expansion across the largest segment of GE Healthcare's $19B business. Earlier in his career, Mr. McLaughlin spent six years on the GE Corporate Audit Staff and was ultimately responsible for the global audit coverage of GE Aviation, Transportation and Water. Mr. McLaughlin earned his Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Michele Oliveto-Hill

Michele Oliveto serves as EVP and General Manager of our Global Professional Services division. Leveraging nearly thirty years of experience in the healthcare payer business, technology operations, implementation planning, execution, application functionality, and information management, Michele directs our professional services teams. She oversees over 100 concurrent consulting engagements across the HealthEdge customer portfolio. Michele is passionate in her commitment to ensuring that our customers realize optimal value from our suite of product solutions. Before joining HealthEdge, Michele's experience includes senior leadership roles at Lumeris, a population health management organization, directing large-scale implementation programs for Medicare Advantage plans. Additionally, at DST Health Solutions, she supported numerous health plans through system implementation, growth, and optimization initiatives. She also served as Chief Operating Officer for Great Lakes Health Plan, a managed healthcare plan in Michigan, where she directed all aspects of business operations, including information technology, claims processing, operational policy development, and management.

Ryan Mooney

Sandhya Gardner

Sandhya serves as the Chief Medical Officer, HealthEdge Clinical Solutions where she leads the clinical strategy and execution of the company's care management & digital health management platforms. In this role, her focus is on ensuring that these offerings support the clinical needs of members and the care teams that support them. Immediately prior to joining HealthEdge, Sandhya served as the Chief Medical Officer of Wellframe through its acquisition by HealthEdge in 2021. She previously spent a decade as a physician executive in the healthcare technology space- including as Chief Medical Officer of Relias (a subsidiary of Bertelsmann SE & Co and a global leader in training, performance and talent solutions for healthcare providers) where she provided clinical leadership to teams focused on improving healthcare outcomes by optimizing provider performance & the delivery of high quality & equitable care. Sandhya is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist who practiced for 10 years before transitioning to industry. She holds a BA and MD from Brown University and currently serves as a Board Member for the Brown Medical Alumni Association.

Stephen Krupa - CEO

As the leader of HealthEdge, Steve has the unique opportunity to leverage the various aspects of his professional experience. He started as a Mechanical Engineer and programmer for Johnson Controls, using software and digital interfaces to control large mechanical systems. Later, after graduating from business school, Steve became involved in the healthcare mergers and acquisitions business, where he worked on over $12BN of strategic acquisitions and recapitalizations, including the landmark acquisition of U.S. Healthcare by Aetna. The bulk of Steve's career involved an 18-year stint as a healthcare venture capital partner at the Psilos Group. While at Psilos, Steve invested in several transformational healthcare technology and services companies, including ActiveHealth Management, Extend Health, and HealthEdge. Today, Steve's professional passion is for the people and customers of HealthEdge, and its vision to build its substantial and unique intellectual property into the most innovative solutions partner in the healthcare I.T. marketplace. Under his leadership, HealthEdge has received recognition as a Best Place to Work by the Boston Globe, Boston's Best and Brightest, and Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation. Steve has hosted the podcast Breaking Health since 2015, where he interviews some of the most disruptive C.E.O.s and leaders in healthcare.
