Welcome to Heartland Railway. As life long model railroad fans we take pride in manufacturing quality upper end laser cut railroad kits. Some of our models are copies of prototype buildings while other are free lance structures. All models are generated using an architectural computer design system. M odels are assembled on the computer before the actual pieces are cut. As sophisticated as this sounds the real wood parts are usually modified several times to assure ease of fit and assembly. Each kit includes all the parts necessary to complete the model except for paint and glue. All models feature tab and slot construction and custom laser cut trim. Peel and stick windows are used in most places but not where trim pieces have to be fit. Northeastern Scale basswood parts are used and some models feature real wood cedar shingles. Illustrated step by step instructions are included with all models.
