HERITAGE REAL ESTATE SERVICES - Key Persons
Fritz Luedke has over 15 years experience operating and investing in real estate and the capital markets. In 2007, he became an owner of Heritage Real Estate Services LLC. While a traditional brokerage company at the time, Fritz and his business partners recognized the fragility of the residential housing market and identified three specific segments of the market on which to focus. Within the next 18 months, the company had expanded its existing services (Traditional Services and Investor Services) to include Distressed Sales, Property Management, and Property Maintenance Services. Today, he and business partner, Tom Harte, oversee daily operations of the company which provides comprehensive real estate services to its clients.
Prior to Heritage Real Estate Services LLC, Fritz and Tom founded HLW Property Group LLC, a real estate investment firm focused on residential, commercial, and raw land opportunities in the Northeast. From 1998-2003, Fritz worked as a Proprietary Trader for First New York Securities, responsible for investing firm capital in the equity and option markets. From 1994-1998, he held positions in trading, financial analysis, and accounting at Pinnacle Associates Limited and Mellon Bank, respectively.
Fritz holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Connecticut and an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Connecticut Association of Realtors (CAR), and the Greater Waterbury Board of Realtors (GWBR). Fritz currently resides in Ridgefield, CT with his wife and son.
Tom Harte and his family have been active participants within the local real estate market for more than 20 years. Originally focused on residential development and brokerage, Tom gained valuable insights from the family real estate business at an early age. In 2007, he became an owner of Heritage Real Estate Services LLC, a full service real estate firm whose primary business lines include Traditional Services, Investor Services, Distressed Sales, Property Management, and Maintenance Services. Tom has extensive knowledge and experience in the market segment known as Distressed Sales, specifically short sales and foreclosure-related transactions.
In addition to Heritage Real Estate Services LLC, Tom is Vice President of Harte Auto Group, parent company of 11 new and used car dealerships throughout Connecticut and New York.
Tom attended St. Margaret's McTernan School (now Chase Collegiate) in Waterbury, CT and Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Connecticut and an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Connecticut Association of Realtors (CAR), and the Greater Waterbury Board of Realtors (GWBR). Tom currently resides in Cheshire, CT with his wife, four sons, and father-in-law.
