Leslie A. Holman

Leslie A. Holman has been practicing law since 1988 and Immigration Law exclusively since 1998. She served as the President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) from 2014 to 2015 and remains a member of its Board of Governors. Leslie has also served as the Vice Chair of AILA's National CBP Committee, Chair of its Admissions and Border Enforcement Committee, and is a member of its Business Steering Committee. She also serves as the local port liaison for AILA's New England Chapter. Leslie was awarded a J.D. with Honors from Hofstra University School of Law in 1987 and as a first year law student was a winner of it's Law Review writing competition and elected as a member of the Law Review. Leslie also was appointed to and a member of the Vermont Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission of Civil Rights from 2008-2020. In 2022, 2023, and 2024 Leslie was awarded Lawyer Monthly's Corporate Immigration Lawyer of the Year - USA selected by Who's Who Legal as Corporate Immigration Thought Leader Leslie is also consistently included and recognized by Who's Who in America as a result of her professional accomplishments. 2018 Leslie was named a Distinctive Female Attorney by the Hofstra University School of Law. In 2008, she was awarded the Sam Williamson Mentor Award for excellence in mentoring and counseling. Leslie graduated from Hofstra University School of Law where she was a member of its Law Review and a winner of its writing competition. Leslie continues to speak and publish frequently on current and important immigration topics.
