Cy Farinas

Oversees Heritage's commitment to solving problems with the dynamic management of facilities, staff and product delivery. Cy joined the company in 2002 after a few years in public accounting. Cy came to Heritage to launch our Window coverings business which grew into a multi-million dollar platform. His operational expertise and high level of focus on problem-solving has been a cornerstone to the management of the entire business. He looks for team members and vendors who can perform at a high level of accountability to deliver our company's promises.

Gilbert Kulling

Job Titles:

Oversees Heritage's commitment to quality labor resources and the details of on-time schedule adherence. Gilbert joined the company in 1995. Over his 20 year tenure he was challenged with building one of the largest labor forces in our industry. He passionately uses his drive, skill and industry knowledge to lead the field operations in all our locations and builds trusted relationships through performance and problem-solving. He is recognized by our customers as the person who says "yes" and gets the job done.

Jamie Rickel

Job Titles:
  • VP Business Operations
Jamie joined the company in 1997. He was charged with building and executing a financial team that could handle the needs of the company as it grew through the building boom and contracted through the financial crisis all while keeping an excellent industry credit rating and best-in-class balance sheet. He is the essence of "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done. He excels in new product offerings and startup of ancillary businesses and has a relentless passion for customer service.

Jenny Carey

Jenny joined Heritage in 2023, bringing with her an impressive background in GAAP and SOX compliance accounting. Along with a Masters in Business from St. Ambrose University, Jenny has 5 years of experience as a Controller in manufacturing and construction industries. Her role focuses on maintaining our high standards within the accounting department as well as communicating with all our departments to ensure proper processes and procedures are followed. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge will help excel Heritage along our path of growth.

Kirk Fagan - President

​Kirk's tenure at Heritage began in 2018 subsequent to his leadership of a floor covering company in Southwest Florida spanning 15 years. With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the industry, Kirk held the role of Vice President of Purchasing & Business Development at Heritage before stepping up to President in May 2024. Kirk embodies the values and vision that guide Heritage towards continued prosperity. By combining innovation, collaboration, and his relentless pursuit of excellence, Kirk continues to secure Heritage as an industry vanguard.

Lindsay Smith Cole

​Lindsay joined the Heritage team in 2015 with a strong background in the public relations industry. She oversees key builder relationships in addition to managing the builder design studio locations throughout Florida. As VP of Sales and Design, Lindsay was instrumental in the creation and management of the Heritage Design Centers initiative. Lindsay's problem-solving drive and dedication to understanding customers' needs make her a strong client advocate and builder partner. Lindsay weaves together the sales and operational details to ensure Heritage outperforms the industry consistently on builder programs and design upgrades. Lindsay is driven by the fast-paced, customer focused and detail-oriented nature of the Heritage business

Megan Smith

​Megan leads Heritage's commitment to customer satisfaction, problem solving and creation of an outstanding design experience. Megan joined the company in 2009, leading retail sales. This experience prepared her for becoming a lead account rep for our home builders. Megan's deep knowledge of products and application has made her a valuable asset for Heritage customers. As VP of Sales & Design, she has led the industry in the development and implementation of upgrade programs to assist our home builder clients maximize their profit per house. Megan spearheaded the creation and management of our growing count of home buyer design studios.

Mila Vashkevich

  • Senior Manager - Contracts, Pricing & Profitability Analytics
​Mila heads Heritage's Estimating Department and our commitment to on-time bidding and best-in-class project specifications. Mila has been with Heritage since 2005. With an accounting and engineer-mathematician master's degree, she oversees our estimating, bidding and contracting departments. Mila has a unique ability to identify and solve problems across all of our internal processes. Mila's commitment to detail maximizes the Heritage value-added approach and minimizes job detail and billing discrepancies.

Randy Smith - Founder

Randy, alongside his brother Brian, and their parents, Runo and Jeri Anne, founded our esteemed corporation over four decades ago in 1983. Throughout his illustrious career, Randy has been unwavering in his commitment to assembling a top-tier team of business professionals dedicated to meeting the dynamic needs of homebuilders across Florida. Leveraging his expertise across product knowledge, operations, marketing, sales, and business administration, Randy has not only achieved remarkable levels of customer retention but has also steered Heritage towards its current status as an industry powerhouse. As of May 2024, Randy has embarked on a new chapter, having retired from his active role at Heritage. However, his invaluable insights and leadership continue to shape our trajectory as he transitions to the Senior Leadership Team of our parent company, Artisan Design Group. In this capacity, Randy remains an integral part of Heritage's journey, ensuring that our legacy of excellence endures.

Thomas McIntyre

Tom manages and services major builder clients and their programs. Tom joined the company in 2009 and has been in the construction services business since 1995. He brings 24 years of sales experience and has a in-depth knowledge in builder account management. Tom utilizes his long-standing relationships with our builders, vendors, and the Heritage team to build a professional experience for all.
