HIC SURFBOARDS

Founded in 1971 by brothers Stephen and Jimmy Tsukayama, Hawaiian Island Creations started as a small surf shop in the cozy eastside community of Kailua on the island of O'ahu. Through a commitment to quality products, HIC opened a full surfboard manufacturing facility producing an array of surfboards, longboards, and sailboards within the same decade of opening. With a successful expanding retail chain during the 90s, HIC closed its surfboard factory and licensed its surfboard brand to Surfboard Factory Hawaii. Through this partnership, the HIC brand has built a reputation as an icon of Hawaiian surfing recognized throughout the world.
