Bridget Macfarlane

Bridget's outdoor leadership and management qualifications combine her passion for adventure and showing guests the hidden gems of New Zealand travel. As a tour bus driver she has led guests on many outdoor adventures in New Zealand and Australia, specialising in skiing, rock climbing, white water kayaking and hiking.

Elisha Wickliffe

Job Titles:
  • Expedition Specialist
Growing up in wine country, Blenheim, New Zealand, Elisha is our Expeditions Specialist passionate about travel having been with the industry through most of her professional career. A seasoned adventurer herself, Elisha enjoys hiking, snowboarding, reading and road tripping to discover all the great outdoors that's on offer.

Emma Carmichael

Job Titles:
  • International Partner Relations
After years of travelling the Canadian countryside with her partner, Emma's passion for adventure and travel lead her to join Heritage Expeditions back home in New Zealand. When not in the office keeping our partners up to date and organising groups Emma can be found exploring our backyard with her young family.

Gill Scott-Douglas

Job Titles:
  • Reservations Manager
Gill's background in project management and passion for travel and the outdoors make her perfectly suited to a career at Heritage Expeditions. An avid skier and mountain biker, Gill's intimate knowledge and firsthand experience of our voyages ensures she and our team of Expedition Specialists are able to answer any questions on the remote destinations we visit.

Heinrich Fenske

  • Accounts Manager
Our money man Heinrich brings more than 25 year of experience in accounting to his key administrative role at Heritage Expeditions. This former South African native loves the New Zealand way of life and enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, especially when the snow covers the Southern Alps.

Isaac Wilson

Job Titles:
  • Sales & Marketing Manager
Passionate about conservation and the environment, Isaac is a former travel writer, journalist and magazine editor. When he's not tempting people with Heritage Expeditions' once-in-a-lifetime adventures, you'll find him hiking the Port Hills with his partner and trusty rescue dog, or transforming their land into a native forest.

Leigh-Anne Stratford

  • Financial Controller
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Leigh worked in London and Melbourne for 20 years. This allowed her to travel extensively throughout Africa, America, Canada, Europe & Australia before returning to New Zealand with her wealth of experience and passion for helping family businesses succeed.

Nathan Russ

  • Operations Director & Expedition Leader
In his dual roles as Operations Director and Expedition Leader, Nathan's accomplished skill set is directed to the logistics of operating our expeditions. The staffing and provisioning of our vessels, combined with coordination of land based resources is a complex and exacting role which ensures many challenges.

Sharon Salmons

Well-travelled at 87 countries and counting, Sharon is a long time Queenstown local with a deep passion for Fiordland and remote New Zealand. On top of her MBA, Sharon brings a wealth of experience in tourism, sales, and international trade to the team between hiking, camping, and volunteering during her spare time.

Weeks Heist

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Weeks discovered his love of adventure while working as an engineer in Chicago spending most weekends camping, climbing, spelunking, or paddling around America. After travelling the globe for 11 years supporting US bases in Antarctica Weeks fell in love with New Zealand, moving permanently and later joining the team as Operations Manager.
