Lockdown messed with our sense of feeling the desire to travel; we fantasized about it when we couldn't, but now that we can we find that we tend toward staying put. Not lying - it probably cost us some misunderstandings among friends and family, but we are (temporarily) embracing our inner Dunning-Kruger and heeding the call to manage ourselves. Not to say we haven't seen folks - it's more that we have internalized safety recommendations (behaviors ranging from masks, to meeting outdoors or in spaces with strong airflow, etc.). So far, it's served us well ... and we've discovered that wearing masks have saved us a ton on chapstick and moisturizer! Serious!... While not much appears to have changed this year, it was intense - Maki's business moved two office locations (and she took offers of cleaning and organizing help from Mom and Bif because I'm not crazy), Bif passed through osteopathic surgery with flying colors, doctors have retired and we're meeting new ones, etc. We are still..
