The Royal hotel was founded 1920 when Gustaaf De Meyer and his wife started Pension De Meyer. Pension De Meyer was located in the street at the back of the hotel. Today the fitness and spa are still located in this building. Afterwards the son of Gustraaf, Michel, continued the business... The Royal hotel is everything an iconic hotel should have. 20 rooms including 3 suites and 1 apartment offer a place to stay for even the most demanding traveller. Whether you opt for a classic or a design room, every space oozes the same sophistication and elegance... In 2008, Jean-Jacques died, and today the hotel is exploited by his wife and two children.
