Desirée founded HR ValueCurve in 2012 following an extensive corporate career with bluechips across sectors, geographies and cultures. With her strong business interest, inquisitive mind, high solution-orientation and perseverance, Desirée worked her way up through the HR function heading Reward & Performance and HR M&A globally in Allianz, BP and Tetra Laval (Tetra Pak) Group, shaping and transforming the functions into high performing Centers of Expertise (CoEs). She previously served in various Region, Country and Division HR and Finance leadership roles in Hi-Tech, starting her career in HP, then building the European Compensation, Benefits & Mobility functions in Intel and Nokia. Desirée was the 1st European Board member of WorldatWork (previously, the American Compensation Association) in the U.S. and also served as Non-Executive Director of the Global Equity Organisation (GEO). She initiated and co-founded the WorldatWork European Reward Consortium and Western Management Group's EuroComp survey.
Desirée holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a business degree from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Germany and a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification from WorldatWork. Alongside her work as a global HR/Reward adviser to corporate clients, she has been a part-time lecturer at the university of applied sciences teaching reward to young talents studying for their Master of HR Management degree.
